I am 35, started smoking cigarettes at 13 (talk about a gateway drug) and in my early 20's i sounded like an old man in the morning.
i quit by using ganja substitution, smoked a joint whenever i felt like a cig...even at work, just went out for ciggie break, and took out my pack of pre-rolled.
never smoked cigarettes again, never even tempted. over the years i have met folks who quit the same way. also have known alcoholics who did the same. my grandad quit drinking in '69 after a lifetime of boozing it up...thanks to ganja-substitution. he was like a preacher for the religion of quitting drink with ganja. he was a big wheel at the lodge, more than a few of his masonic brothers got on the program!
anyhoo, thought i would start this thread and see if there are others out there who have had similar experiences in quitting the abuse of a harmful drug using the healing of the nations as their catalyst.
