Been running 10 Quantums for about 5 years now, NOT ONE PROBLEM!!

going to see about exchanging for a new Quantum instead of replacing this POS.....

I was at the store the other day they have this new brand called solis tek. they have all these cool features like remote controls and stuff. You can program them to do all kinds of shit.

Five year warranty. I've never used them.
I run quantum 600 for veg and galaxy 1000 for flower.
I had a bad quantum. No bad galaxys yet.

krunch you didn't read the disclaimer when you brought back that Lumatek from the SPCA, you have to play it bob marley it's first 48 hr's of usage time or else it could feel sad and implode!

I have been using Lumatek ballasts for years, and the only time I had any fail was because of improper grounding. Both of these were replaced by Lumatek under warranty with brand new units. (No, I didn't fess up my stupidity....) When correctly wired, they are super reliable and trouble free, and boy do they ever put out a lot of lumens.

I briefly glanced their site, seems promising.

If they had a ballast that was a self contained flip flop, they would gain a costumer in me.

Seems as easy as adding another 'port' for a second cord, and a little bit of their software programing.

I agree a flip flop would be pretty sick. For my set up personally i don't know how much of an advantage it would be, but it'd definitely be nice to double up with one ballast.

And yeah Krunch I've been seeing these package deals popping up all over the place too. Seems like pricing is getting better.
