I'd like to welcome you all to my garden. A lot has changed since my last two grow cabinets, and this time i am very please with the outcome. **Click the pictures...they enlarge providing much better clarity!**

Currently in my mother cabinet i have:
SFV OG Kush
Outkast's Pre2k True Blueberry (sat. pheno)
LVPK
Cherry Pie
Girl Scout Cookie S1's
Triangle Kush x Deep Chunk
Unknown sativa dom. hybrid i call "DayGlo"

First, let me show you my setup. First is my mother cabinet. converted from my flower chamber from my last grow, it is now my mother/veg chamber. inside, it is powered by 3 PLL at the ver cieling of the cabinet. and a fourth bulb at the rear wall of the cabinet hanging horizontally. (due to my carelessness i have broken 3 bulbs so currently you are only seeing the cabinet being powered by 1 overhead PLL bulb while i wait for the others. The Rubbermade above stealthly contains a 4inch vortex 172 cmf blower fan that is connected to a large DIY carbon filter. For Veg growth, im using PLL spectrums of (2)4100K and (2) 6400K.

The flower chamber consists of a large armoire wardrobe i came across and just couldn't pass up on.

Inside it is wrapped with mylar and powered by both a cooltubed 250watt HPS and four additional vertical PLLs along the sides of the walls. The cab has rear passive intakes consisting of dark room louvers while it is vented by a 4in 172cfm Vortex blower.

Carbon filter positioned vertically (talk about being a PITA once i need to change the carbon out...its screwed in...FUUUUU) Other than that, the the vertical positioning should have very even effiecient distribution of carbon/air exposure:

The Vortex 4in 172 cfm blower connected to my cooltube, which is connected to the carbon filter:

Lighting system, both 250watt hps and 4 PLL's hung vertically, two on the rear, and two on either side. Spectrum for flowering includes (2) 3000k and (2) 4100K:

After everything was installed, i placed some buckets in and did a temp check with the lights running. It may be a little on the warm side during the summer here, but for right now its more than perfect.

More of the lighting setup:

Now that you all are a little familiar with my setup, lets introduce the some plants into the mix for this current harvest. I'll start by posting the progression of everything once the clones rooted out of the ez cloner. Keep in mind many things were transplanted and moved around, although i kept everything labeled throught transplanting and rearrangement.

The project outline for this Harvest is to maximize the amount of clones i have available. In theory, i will have 4 large pots, (1 for each SFV OG, LVPK, TBL, and CP). the remainer of the clones will be flowered out in either double stacked 2L bottles or double stacked half gallon OJ containers.

A mother of each strain is also kept labeled in my mother chamber along with the Girl Scout Cookie S1s, Triangleh Kus x DC, and my unknown "DayGlow" seedling.

My mix:
Each strain is in an organically ammended soil mixture. more specifically, i used a personal mixture of:
Fox Farms Ocean Forest
Fox Farms Light Warrior
Both Chunky and small Perite
Dolomite Lime
Kelp Meal Extract
Organic Blood Meal
Organic Bone Meal
High Phosphorus Bat Guano
Mycohorrizae
Hygrozyme

When watering, i water until run-off, containing pHed water, Black Strap Mollasses, and when heavy feeding ill add Kelp Meal, Bat Guano, and Hygrozyme to the water solution.

Initial potting after the clones began to root. Most of the 2L in this image contain SFV OG:

More early after transplanting.

Lets have a peak at the early looks of the mother chamber:
Here we have 2 Triangle x Deep Chunk seedlings along with an SFV OG Kush mother, a LVPK mother, and a CP mother...Outkast TBL wasn't moved into here at this point due to her being the slowest to clone of the bunch.

Here you can see the single PLL i have currently in my veg cab. its Setup for 4 bulbs, 3 at the top and one horizontally on the rear back wall, but i accidentally broke 3 of the bulbs...so in the meantime...here is bulb numero uno:

Here is another progressive picture of everything in the flower cab. I realize i did not previously make this clear, everything in the flower cabinet is still on a 18/6 veg. cycle until they are large enough for me to flip the lights...eventually after this harvest i plan on doing a perpetual SOG.

The bag seen in the following pictures is an "Exhale Homegrown CO2" Bag containing substrate and a mycelia mass. on the bag is a one way fabric valve that allows gas exchange to occur, releasing CO2 generated from the mycelia mass on to the grow. Once the cabinet was filled, the bag was repositioned above the plants on the utility shelf. It Def. works, as the bag clearly inflated as the mycelium have colonized the substrate...its good for 6 months:

All the plants gathered in a tub for a nice run-off watering:

very cool.
what were the temps? if you don't mind. what was 'on the high side?'
also, do you have any light leak on the wall behind that intake or did you use somethng to block light coming out louvres?
interesting lineup too.
proceed!

At this point in the grow, it is the week before thanksgiving. Still The Outkast BlueBerry is in the EZ-cloner. Just now beginning to show single root formations on each of the clones. Everything was given a good watering as seen in the tub in the last post, so i decided to let the blueberries have additional time in the cloner while i was away for the Holidaze for 4 days. when i returned how, the clones having been transplanted exploded with new growth and the TBL clones have grown a long thick root mass...def. ready to transplant when i returned.

Blue berry clones looking like they are ready for hydro...to soil they go!

New growth seen on the clones left to veg while away...this is after 4 days:

More pictures of progress, once again you can clearly see the CO2 bag. Tons of explosive growth...jeeez the OG is growing so fast there is no way the rest will catch up before the lights switch:

Above shot of the reflector...now im starting to introduce the 250 HPS Lighting to the plants gradually:

Further transplanting and rearrangements...trying to take advantage of the light capacity of this cabinet while i wait for my PLLs to arrive for the mother/veg chamber, before i flip the lights in my flower chamber.

in solo cups you can see: 1 GSC S1, 1 unknown "DayGlo", and 1 Triangle Kush x Deep Chunk:

OG's just crowding about:

On the high side with all the lights on, i believe i saw 84 degrees once. But the average high is 78 degrees. with the just the PLL's its about a degree above ambiant if not ambiant temp. lights off range from 65-72 depending on outside ambiant temps. but usually the temps fluctuate between 72-78 with everything running depending on the outside temp.

The vents are dark room louvers, so no, no light leaks at all...they are light proof! the doors for my flower cab...they were a real trick to light proof...due to the sliding nature of the armoire doors. the mother cab. was considerably easier to light proof. i still need to add the PVC light proof joint to the bottom of that cab. prob. will glue them in tomorrow. other than that everything is light proof. thanks for stopping by!

Taking a closer look outside of the cab.

Recently transplanted Outkast Blueberry in to its final large container:

Back in to the flowering cab:

Time to take a look at the mother cabinet to see whats going on. aside from the seedlings and 4 mothers, the rest are temporarily growing in here until they are large enough to flower out following a final transplant.

New SFV OG mom in the corner. I just couldn't not keep her...she is one of the best looking clones of the sfv and the other clone i planned to keep of her just didnt compare, so i swapped the two. she, i will keep...the other will be flowered with the rest. With all the lateral growth, she is def. ready to provide clones

Cherry Pie with its weird leaf formations slowly starting show veg. growth:

in the rear, you can see my Outkast Blueberry Mum:

More of the Outkast Blueberry:

Along with more of the LVPK:

one of them all:

Back to the flower cab. all the clones grown SOG in the 2L bottles and 1/2 gallon OJ containers have been upgraded by adding an additional 2L or 1/2 gallon container to allow for larger root growth.

additionally, all of the plants in the Large containers have tomato cages surrounding the plants. This is important because it provides structural support, especially for the OG when flowering and a trellis for me to train them on to for increased growth.

Once tall enough, each container has a bamboo pole in the center giving support to the clones in SOG..namely the OG:

Here are the most recent pictures. im hoping everything will root quickly now that they all have been recently transplanted. the OG's are growing so fast that im prob. going to begin flowering at the end of the week. in the mean time the OG's in particular look a little pissy this evening..namely because today i super cropped them all in an effort to encourage more nutrient uptake during flowering to increase yield and also strengthen the structural integrity of such a viney plant. Not too worried about them though, they will perk up...now im only hoping that the rest of the plants catch up in time so that they yield decently as well. I figured the blueberry would stretch a lot due to the sativa dominance, but i was just told by someone with experience with her that she barely moves...FUUUU...

My SFV OG Kush mother in her final container (these containers will allow me to keep 20 moms!! so eventually once i order enough, all of my moms will be moved to these):

My LVPK Mother in her final container:

My two Girl Scout Cookie S1 seeds...which may actually be (the GSC cut x with a very nice Fire OG Male) we will see, if they are all female, then its safe to say they are S1s...if not, then i think i may have the Animal Cookies cross!...either way chocolate thin mint cookie goodness!!:

Clean looking cab man and a killer lineup I be watching :joint:

Vado, its so nice to have you in this thread! Thanks for the positive feedback. I'll be updating regularly!

GreenLuv707, it is a real honor to have you in here as well. I always enjoy reading your posts here on ICMag so i am looking forward to having you in here. Yea, the SFV def. scares me as far as stretch. thats why i have them being supercropped this week. Slow there veg growth down while they repair their stems while also strengthening their structural support in preparation for flowering. Was hoping the TBL was going to stretch along with her due to the sat. dominant growth pattern. But by the sound of it, that wont be the case. Still planning on flipping the lights once everything has bounced back...hopefully by the end of the week.

Thanks for all the positive support guys, things are just starting to get fun! more updates to come.

I am just in time to see this grow flip to flower. I will tag along the rest of the way. Your BB doesn't stretch at all? That could be good in the right situation.
