Drying Challenge ... Totes?

I have two strains of plants growing and will have to harvest in two stages. The first strain is done and I want to cut now. The second strain may be another 2-3 weeks.

I have a tiny micro-space to grow and dry. My problem is while there's still a plant growing, I will not have room to hang all the bud as I usually do.

I'm thinking I'll have to put the cut buds in plastic totes with the lids 1/2 on. Right next to the still growing second strain. My goal is to get the bud down to 70% Rh in 4-7 days, then I jar.

My concern is there is no fan in the totes, the temp will be 80, not 70 like I'd prefer for drying.

Anyone thing there will be a problem with this crude tote drying?

anyway to cut a passive intake hole and put a PC fan on an exhaust hole ?

i did that once years ago...

got a cardboard box? set it up on your intake and hang buds inside it.

Thanks to you both. I don't have a PC fan. I'm looking at other hanging options. A cardboard box may work.

I decided to hang branches of bud from a drying rack I have. Then I draped black plastic over the top to try and contain some humidity. I don't like to dry them too quickly, but certainly don't want mold. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the support!

I would just hang the done plants in a closet somewhere and shut the door to contain the smell. This time of year in my neck of the woods stuff dries enough to jar in 4 days.

im not sure what im going to do in the end. but it looks like i will putting off the chop date. they are going through a second burst of flower 60days in. i mean, new pistils and new growth. leaves are purple from the cold temps. i have some really pretty shit going on.

just surprised my 50day strain is going to take 65+....are sconds bursts of flowering common this late in flowering?
