Dammit. Valiant effort by Machida, but even as a fan I've always thought his grappling was overrated. Like Jones said, he doesn't move too much.
One of these nights, someone's not going to get up from one of those blows.

an incredible night of world class fights in a world class city."T dot O oh. rep it everywhere i go." the action was incredible but i have to comment on that choke out. i cant recall seeing anything like it in all my viewing history. buddy had him out on his feet and then just dumped him and let him drop like a folded house of cards. grimy. that was sick.....

first of all, Nick Diaz is very outspoken proponent of marijuana. He has a 215 prescription and has spoken at length about the benefits of smoking pot and eating wholesome organic food. he should be the most loved fighter on ICmag
secondly, diaz is not disrespectful. He has no problem giving other fighters their props after he beats them. Just look at Daley, or Gomi. He does have a problem with shitty decision losses to wrestlers, or losses due to cuts, and understandably so.
3rd, "disregard for others and the UFC as a whole??" Nick runs his own jujitsu school, is close with his brother, and has millions of fans, so i'm sure he has regard for others. He has also been fighting in the UFC since 2003!!! he likes the UFC, he just doesn't like their rules that favor wrestlers.
i wish more people would learn about Diaz before talking shit.
Jones, also, is misunderstood. He may be cocky but not unnecessarily so. he is talented and so far hasn't been touched. I'm sure in person he is a nice guy
