Predator Series King Cobra reflector, has anyone used one?

Im thinking about buying a new reflector for my 1k. Looking at the Sunleaves Predator Series King Cobra 6". Its huge, but is it worth the ching?

if anyone has used one please leave an opinion before I blow my cash.

Forget what you’ve heard: size matters, especially when it comes to lighting large spaces in indoor gardens. Don’t get a case of reflector envy, get a King Cobra! The biggest in Sunleaves’ Predator Lighting, the King Cobra features a shatter-resistant tempered glass lens, a European aluminum insert that offers 95% reflectivity, and a UL-listed, aerodynamically-mounted 2000-watt/600-volt pulse-rated Leviton mogul socket. Power is provided via a 15-foot, 600-volt cord outfitted with the industry-standard common plug. The Predator Lighting King Cobra 6 houses a six-inch flange and measures 42.75" x 30" x 9.75" (dimensions include flanges and mounting brackets). Complementary hanging hardware is included with each King Cobra reflector.

u know what i dont like about those reflectors? most are chinese made and they all leak air. for the money i prefer the ss2 cause of the spread(but it still needs to be taped. i think if you can afford to run a light without aircooling go with the wing. i made my own years ago, 2 pieces of sheetmetal, sprayed flat white and coat hangers to open and close to what size u want it to spread.

i also dont like the way they attach the ends to those reflectors. they crack around the seal cause there not spot welded. pm me for a good light link. i dont like advertising any manufacture but dont like members to get taken on chinese junk. my humble opinion of course.

yeah I didnt go for this one, I got a block buster instead. I looked at a magnum XXXL 8 which is very similar to the king cobra and the shape just seems impractical. Almost 4' long but not that wide in comparison so it gives an awkward foot print. I also dont see how anyone could cram more than one of them in a 4x8 tent, just ridiculous. I spent quite a bit of money on cheaply made chinese grow equipment and its all going to be going in the trash soon, fuck China buy American, Canadian or European.

No expert but i drooled over that thing for a month down at the shop. Finally ended up with the slightly smaller "cobra" for a hundred or so less then the "king cobra". Seems good enough to me, airtight to, no need to tape, i am sure over time the seal will likely fail but no gaping holes or gaps as i have seen with other reflectors in the past. Cant say its the best reflector in the world but i am happy with it.

King cobras actually aren't that bad you just need the room to deal with them if your doing small tent grows then you do not want this. If you need to cover a lot of space these leave big foot prints and disperse the heat well. All these stupid hoods leak air and need to be taped if you can use a wing or go vert you get a bigger bang for your buck and less hassle dealing with the air ducts. These are also tough to clean unless taken apart.
