Just a small Pre98 Bubba grow...

VG, with this Bubba I've only ever run Lucas ratio or Maxibloom so I couldn't tell you if heavier feeding would up yields.
I don't consider Maxi or Lucas particularly heavy doses, at least not compared to what I see some others using.

i dont think heavy feeding would help its yield really, i would say letting it go the full 75 days of flower will be your best bet along with your current feed.

when i grew her she could sure handle alot of food. but its just not a yeilder in general!

Day 23 Update

Greetings ICMAG
Today is day 23 flower for these Bubba's and so far everything is looking nice and green.
Bud formation is rampant now, trichomes can be seen with the naked eye and they are starting to take on that sexy Kush smell
They're still being fed Lucas ratio, cal/mag (@ 1 tsp/gal) and liquid KoolBloom @ 1/2 tsp/gal, all mixed into tap water.
My lazy ass has yet to hook up the drain system so I'm still taking the plants out of the room and watering by hand over a drain table. Gives me an excuse to go into the room and mingle with the Ladies
Anyway, pics...

The slight yellow tint on some of these pics is from the glow of the hps bulb peeking out of the flower room.

Day 32 flower update

Thank you all for the positive vibes and kind words
The following pics are day 32 flower, three days ago (it's day 35 today).
My computer has been acting up and I wasn't able to add these pics 'til today.
Anyway, as you can see all is well. They are swelling up nicely and trichome production is rampant. They smell wonderfully!
They're still getting fed Lucas ratio, 1 tsp/gal of Calimagic, 1/2 tsp Liquid koolBloom, all mixed with tap water.
I finally hooked up the feed and drain system and things are now on full on auto pilot.
Anyways, pics...






Here are a few shot of the feed and drain system hooked up.
In this shot you can see how the buckets are paired together..


Here you can see the smaller 1/4" feed lines coming out of the 1/2 main line that comes out of the rez;

The system acts just like a flood drain setup only instead of draining back to the rez the small pump in the "controller" bucket pumps the fluid outside to waste, and they are fed from the top instead of flooding from the bottom;

The whole system is set on timers. Three minutes after the feed pump kicks on the drain pump comes on. The feed pump stays on for 5 minutes total, the drain pump stays on for 15 minutes total. Then the drain pump comes back on again 15 minutes after it shuts off because the pots will drip dry for a while and will over flow otherwise.
Seems complicated but trust me it works flawlessly

It's Christmas eve so I figured I'd put up a few shots before I sit back with Mrs.Evl and smoke ourselves merrily
Nothings changed from the last update 'cept for buds being slightly bigger, slighlty stickier and slightly smellier.
Nutrients are the same, temps are 78-80, co2@900ppm, humidity @50%; these kushes are loving life.
I've run her so many times over the past two years that I've lost count but without a doubt this is the best run I've ever had with her.
Every time I go into the room I feel like a proud papa

looks like Katsu Bubba to me for the last pics. pre98 has a very distinct appearance on the crowns of the buds. the Katsu is more pointed in the tops of spears. slightly less fat fan leaves.
its likely the method u grow with altering the appearance a lil bit, stains can differ in appearance from room to room, hydro or soil or coco etc. just an observation.
love the rig though mighty cool.

Hello folks, and Happy New Year
Today is day 49 and I could not be happier with this run. Dare I say this is the best I've ever done with the Bubba.
Buds are bigger than ever before, and the smell will knock you over when you open the door.
These are going to 70 days but flushing will commence in one more day (day 51). These are in 2 gallon ebb/gro buckets, which is bigger than I usually use, so I want to make sure they are thoroughly flushed.
For the last few days they have been getting Lucas ratio plus 1/4 tsp/gal of powder Koolbloom. I dropped the Calimagic almost 2 weeks ago...







SirSmokalot, funny you mention the pointed tops. This is the first time in over a dozen grows of her that the tops became so pointed.
I chalked it up to the use of Liquid Koolbloom but I could be wrong. Normally her tops are much broader. Good eye.
