uh, this guy had this infestation in October of 2010, i am sure the mites are long gone... lol ...u stoners need to learn how to read dates...

Im from the bay area as well and have yet to run into these super resistant mites, i just hit mine a few times in the first three weeks of flower with azatrol with an atomizer. Ive never had any issues. Also on the prevention side of things, a study back in the seventies on plants in general proved that kelp treated plants become more resistant to sapping insects. so in our case mites and fungus gnat larvae. ive always used kelp based products in my hydro and mites nor gnats have ever really taken hold. between the two it seems to be pretty easy and very effective. good luck
