wow!!!!....what an awesome day!!! (w/pics)

woke up feeling great , in-between snowstorms (just got a foot and a half of powder), 19 degrees, and a perfect day to hike up the backyard, and grab a few hunks of firewood that i neglected last winter...

...it was a hike w/ good ol' sour diesel

i love winter, i love snow, i love mountains, and i love colorado!!!

...here a few pics i took today:

this where a big bull elk was bed down for almost 2 solid days...dude didn't move....and only about 100yards from the back door

my closest neighbor....(over a mile a way...my camera is on full zoom)...my house isn't quite that nice...lol:

thanks bro!!! it is nice here...really nice....and getting out and getting to enjoy it is awesome....the mountains rule, and a good dose of nature really helps level the soul....

Nice photographs, really nice surroundings. I'm not too keen on snow, but Colorado is one place I (maybe) would leave the southeast for. I love mountains too, Appalachian or Rocky. Stay warm!

Like I said...only a stoner....I found it beautiful & interesting myself.

I can sit in my backyard & watch birds or butterflies for hours doing absolutley nothing, and marvel at nature, when I have the time & the rite ting packed in my bowl.
