NEW 2 room build out Perpetual design and Build.

Absolutely looks fantastic Stu! I really like the drip system. Beats the heck out of my soft tube + crappy pumps + full minute timers :D Can't wait to see you cranking it up!

Hi everybody... Got to installing a 1HP chiller for the 100 gallon rez for the flower room. Ya it is a bit over kill but always thinking of upgrading.

Also planning on installing a head pressure control for the chiller. Says not to operate with air temps lower than 50 degrees. This is due to the fact that it has a cap tube expansion device and can not compensate like a TXV (sorry AC talk). Will throw some pictures in once I install the controller. '

Here are some pics of the chiller and the cover I built for it. The manufacturer does not recommend installing the chiller out doors. So this will do. The hot air will be coming out of the unit. Noticed how I left room on the side for fresh cool air to be taken into the coil. Also how I blocked off the discharge side of the condenser so no hot air gets sucked back around. Ya it is pretty ghetto but it will get the job done.

Well finally finished install the fan controller. This baby will run at 225 head pressure all day long. Even when it is 32 degrees out. Wait thank god I'm in So Cal. But that is besides the point. I love tinkering and tricking everything out that I do (it's my profession).

Can 100 for flower room I guess I'm just going to set it there. HAHA.
Still waiting on the 12" inline fan to come in.

And if it there wasn't enough work today while water the girls the hose "accidentally" :joint: sprayed all over the veg humidifier. So I ripped it apart air dried the motor and she still works.

Just waiting on that Fan in the next day or two and they will be ready to jump in.

Going to be installing a sentinel UTC-1 as what people call a trip wire for my light controller.

The UTC-1 will go to a relay on normally closed contacts which will go to my light controller contractor. When the UTC-1 gets above 91 F it will send voltage to the relay opening the normally closed contacts which in turn will open and not send voltage to my contractor turning off my lights.

Just another added fail safe devise to save my whole grow incase the AC takes a crap or some other catastrophic event happens. Will post pics later on.

Ok so I got around to installing my high temp limit yesterday. Here is the controller I am using a UTC-1 on the left that will be controlling a relay. Middle is my CPPM-4 goes to my natural gas burner. And EVC-2 controlling my mini split and dehumidy.

It is a little messy but it is all there. Black boxes are my timers for veg and flower lights. Chiller controller, ballast, and main panel.

Here are the boxes that control my lights on the left and my AC on the right. They both have double pole contactors inside.

Here is the light contactor with a mars 90294 fan relay wrapped in that green electrical tape.

Nothing fancy just another nice thing to have that will save a lot of headaches down the road.

Will keep this thread updated with any other things I decide to add or change. Till then stay green.
