$0.14 for the first 600kw then $0.21 after on a monthly basis. That is after the government adds all the taxes. Taxes are about $0.06.

bay area california, with CARE, maxes out at 13 cents a kwh....but without CARE god damn its like 41 cents..

for my 4kw flower + 1kw veg + tv, computer my monthly bill is around 300 a month. but my monthly savings with CARE are like 500 bucks.....if i didnt have CARE my monthly would be between 800 and 900 a month!

my buddy in oakland runs a 10kw flower without CARE and hes paying damn near 2k a month....

Why is it so much more expensive in cali? Is there some type of strict state compliance that costs more money?

Becasue we have a electric company...who are gready fu*ks...and they ask for an energy raise of 6% every year..and the state government lets them have it......it's total bullsh*t...

I am applying for care....as those rates should be the normal rate.......the base line is 435kwh.....I hit that after day 4 in the month...then the next rate after day 7...do I am in the highest rate....for 23 days out of the month....and its brutal...

they have not changed the base line allowance since 1950....houses...and energy use has increased but the base line has stayed the same.

Why is it so much more expensive in cali? Is there some type of strict state compliance that costs more money?

London UK.

I'm EDF energy and due to being on Jobseekers benefit, i managed to get what is called "dual fuel assist" 2 years ago, as my gas is also with them.

I know prices have just gone up, mine was 10.2 pence per KWH and has now gone to 12.3 ppKWH. [That's 0.1587 US cents rising to 0.1913 US cents.]

Anybody in the UK, on JSA like me, ask your power company for the unemployed tarif assistance, nobody tells you they have these reductions for people, i know EDF do it for the unemployed, so ask, it's around 16 pence per KWH i think now, were i not having the dual fuel assist keeping things lower, i could only afford to grow from seed if i was paying full, as well as only go online a couple of hours a day not 10 average, so wouldn't get my TV show D/L's etc unless having very fast swarm speeds, not good.

Don't listen to other power company guff in the UK, profiteering gits most of them, EDF are the best for the unemployed and most ethical in my humble opinion!!!

0.25€/kwh + 80€/jear... but pure hydro-power :)
coal/nuclear power would still cost around 0.22€ and i only run 250w, so i decided to support clean energy :)

There has to be some benefit from living where all the energy comes from I guess, right?

My sympathy goes out to those who pay $0.40 or even 25. my bill would be like 4K/ Year! Yikes!
