Two 4x4's or one 4x8.....

I think Im going to need more space. Im trying to decide between two DR120's and a 240W (the 4x8). I already have one DR120 4x4. so Im trying to decide between just adding another 4x4 or biting the bullet and going with the 4x8.

My first instinct was the 4x8 because Im probably going to run two 600's and the overlapping light spectrum will help. It wont be exclusively for MJ, I grow a variety of ethnos and chilli's, veggies and usually flower the MJ right along side the veggies.... otherwise I would go with 1000's if it was only MJ. There might be times I do a run or two all MJ though but for the most part two 600's in a 4x8 will be suitable.

Then again though ... if I bought two seperate tents it might give me more flexibility down the road. I could flower both if I want, or veg in one and flower in the other, etc .... whereas with the single 4x8 Im either flowering or not. Although, on the otherhand in a 4x8 I could always add a third 600 if I wanted. ;)

Hard call, Im not sure which way I want to go.

Any thoughts?

It would be cheaper to go with the 1 tent instead of 2, but if money isnt a big concern i would say go with 2... if you think there is a chance you will flower and veg at the same time then just go for 2. dont want go for one then decided later on you want to have 2 spots.

I guess I should mention I already have one DR120 4x4 and a 600w digi. Original post is now edited.

Thanks for the input

If it's one thing I've learned over the years in regards to growing reefer in tents, bigger is in fact better. Even if you don't need the space, maybe down the road you would need it? The only advantage to having multiple 4x4's is that you can have multiple light cycles going at once.

Good point, thats kind of what Ive been thinking. The thing is now I would have to pack up the 4x4 and use only the 4x8 because it would be taking up EVERY last inch of space I have available but down the road, as you say, I would then have a 4x4 veg room and a 4x8 flower which seems about right to me ;)
