Best Hash Smoking Method?

I love the bubble and may convert some of my bud into more hash or oil. I'm tired of my filthy lame old pipe and dirty screen. Not sure if hash vapes well, so maybe I need to look at a great pipe. I also have many cans of 5x butane from my Iolite vape days. Maybe I need a lighter also.

What are the hash connoisseurs using?

I recommend a bed of ash over a metal screen. You have gone to the trouble of getting glass with no metal. Seems blasphemous to add metal after. Peace GS

I'm thinking the only metal would be the screen. Otherwise all glass, and that seems desirable. Any way to do this without ash?

I use a glass pipe, spoon type. Hash burns at very high temperatures so I don't cover the hithole, unlike when smoking bud. I suppose the hit gets airier this way but a good hash hit is so intense in taste it doesn't matter. Anyone else smoke like this?

It has a pretty large bowl (for a spoon) and then I put a screen at the bottom. You mention you're bored of using the same dirty screen... Before smoking hold the screen up with some pliers and burn all the crap off with a torch lighter. Very easy and just takes a couple seconds. Often I use a torch lighter to light the hash when smoking too but I wouldn't say it's necessary, matches or an ordinary butane lighter will do the job just fine.

Sometimes I let the pipe get a bit dirty because hash resin doesn't leave a bad taste and the pipe looks pretty cool with that golden resin. But it's not a good idea because in the long run everything starts tasting like Moroccan.

So boring and simple but it really is the best method I've found for me. I even bought a bubbler for the very purpose of smoking hash with it but.. the spoon is better.

ALright i dont have any pics but i will take some. Ive got a three hole pipe. WHich is a pipe specifically for hash. instead of a hole at the bottom there are three smaller holes in the side wall of the bowl. mine happens to be a bubbler but you can get them either way. so you put your concentrate in the bottom of the piece. Then i heat up a glass wand with a torch and take the red hot wand and press it into the hash. same concept as hot knives but no gross metal taste. its even better taste if you can get a bubbler one. glass is always better in my opinion ill get some pics loaded up shortly of it. by far my favorite way to enjoy concentrates, vapor domes are pretty awesome to and no i dont mean a vaporizer attachment.

This is so the way to go! Whenever I have hash that is high quality this is how I smoke it! Juice puddles all day!

Usually high quality hash has some type of melting effect, when you hit it straight off of a screen it can clog very easy and get super hot, with nice ash it like soaks into the ash and makes a nice kindling effect, if you do it right your hash will burn from the sides up into the middle of the hash.. mmmmmm

Ah. I see. I wasn't sure of the ash source. So how does one carefully turn the wick to ash? This is really interesting. I appreciate the info.

Lets see.. I have never tried to explain this so sorry if its weird

I take some beeline maybe a foot or so and I bend like 5 or 6 inches of it downward so its like a L shape light it on fire from the bottom and the part that you folded down will catch fire, let it burn to ash and then carefully lower it onto the bowl(It will be like a hanging white ash strand) and you might have to guide the ash down with a small pick or something, it might sound complicated but its super easy and with practice is a fast process.

Keep in mind your going to look crazy(Like me) doing this haha, friends will be like bro what the fuck are you doing with the beeline when they walk in and your holding a 10 inch flaming beeline above your bowl like its some mythical incense lol....
