Cloning the weak and dying!!

Hey guys,
I just got done with my outdoor, and I'm hating myself for not cloning a cut of Purple Trainwreck x Hashplant that I ran. Grew extremely vigorously, stinks, dense, huge yield, easy to trim.

I cut all the colas, and now it's still in the ground with just some lower nugs that keep turning more and more purple. This plant is nearly dead however, it's run its course.

I'm planning on taking maybe 60 cuts, removing all buds, and letting them sit in my ez cloner.

Will these clones still root? If they do root, will they eventually revert back to veg and be viable in 4 or 5 months? Does anybody have any experience with saving clones??

I have friends that cut there clones off indoor plants after week two or three, that had flowers on them, they always rooted and reverted back. However thats kinda different from what you have going on. I am pretty sure that if you can get them to root they will for sure revert back. I would think getting them to root would be difficult. i have no exp with it but have you looked into tissue cloning? good luck

They'll root as long as you leave some vegetative matter. You'll get all sorts of funky growth once they start up like single bladed leaflets just give it time. The plant loves to be propagated!

i have rooted buds. any plant matter can root. make sure your cloner is clean and place some EWC tea in there.

Yeah man, run a search on "monster cropping". People have done it and when they root and take off you get these crazy looking mutant plants with so many growth shoots.
