Getting high while building grow rooms, Good idea?

It all depends on the work I am doing.
Finishing out drywall or painting? Hell yeah I am stoned.
I can't imagine doing basically mindless tasks without being high.
About 80% of construction falls into that category for me but
I have been doing this for a long time
Figuring major layouts(stairs, rafters, walls, etc.) or making a materials
list is about the only time I abstain.

Choosing the right smoke is also a must.
Heavy Indica's may not be the best choice:biglaugh:

Yeah, once you find your tape measure, work is a breeze. :)

But I sure don't smoke it before doing my taxes.

back in 04 found some mushrooms around a field near a house we were rough wiring. collected several monsters and brought them back to the garage where the rest of the crew was eating lunch. it was a friday, house was almsot complete so we thought ''why not?!''.

watching someone take about 10 minutes to climb down a 4ft ladder was awesome. but yhea, hanging the whips for the flo's in the garage on a 10ft ladder tripping balls... not so awesome. but ive often wondered... can you be too high to drive?

glad you are alright, mate.

Thanks Fast. No I didn't hit my head, It was purely pain and/or the force of me hitting the concrete. Everyone keeps asking me if i got checked out but I know my body pretty well. Im suffering from a bruised hip and a pulled muscle or ligament in my lower back. Not serious, but it shook me to the core.

Yeah, once you find your tape measure, work is a breeze.

I do construction of all kinds from rough to high end cabinets and pieces and I love to do it stoned. But I do it every day and have a lifetime of experience to fall upon. Somehow I have never had a bad accident or ruined a bunch of expensive special order stuff. Generally if you learned how to do it stoned you can do it stoned. If you have never done it before, good luck trying it freshly tuned, be it calculus or cabinets. Ladders, staging, roofs, so many ways to get hurt. My brother stumbled 5 feet off a stepladder and fell on his chest, cracked his sternum and went into respiratory arrest. If not for a doctor listening to a scanner just up the road...

Sorry about the accident. Hope you recover ok and soon.

Want a laugh? A residential hollow-core door rocked my world. Was walking through the hall in dim light and my forehead hit the corner of the door. The door was at the perfect angle, no movement on the hinge.

Looked like I got hit with a cleaver.

Fell off the ladder this summer. It was not fun. Landed on the concrete from about 7 feet on my wrist. Was in so much pain thought I was going to fucking die. I feel for ya man. Still doesn't feel right.

LOL'd. I keep the bulkhead to my basement propped open with a broom handle, and while cleaning things up I knocked the broom handle out, and it landed on my face. I had the same thing, rotated 90 degrees.

Oh wow! hahaha. Damn man, That's crazy! Its amazing that stupid door could do so much damage right? Thanks for the condolences, I'm slowly coming out of this.

Holy shit! I just got the worst feeling reading that, That's awful and that could have easily been me.

You and I definitely have an understanding, Don't we? I sure hope its not one of those injuries that haunts me for years to come, I hate those. That motorcycle accident I was in had my knee messed up for a few years, Doc took all kinds of pictures of it and swore there was nothing wrong but the pain said other wise.

Still to this day I'll be walking or running and it just locks up on me.....It sucks. I sure hope your wrist heals up man, maybe one of those wrist braces would help you? I have had a alot of wrist problems and those help me when i use them for long periods of time. You cant trust yourself not to move it the wrong way and just keep irritating the injury.

Having all you guys chime in definitely helps me out, Thanks!

Ha! at everything posted above, this thread just had me rolling with laughter as I recalled interesting times that I have had while constructing. It seems that I measure ten times, cut twice, and still end up with something totally off. My current room has some screwups that are probably pot related

Shortly after my ladder fall, exactly 1 day before bringing 100+ clones into my new 7 room facility the neighboring building behind me caught fire and it spread to my building burning it to the ground.

I haven't grown sense.
