Spare bedroom, single 15amp circuit, maximizing potential

Hello everyone. Looking to get some input on a new room design. I have a spare bedroom about 12'x12' with a 3'x6' closet. At present, I have a 4x4 tent in the room with a vertical 400, and a 4ft 6 bulb t5 for veg hanging in the closet (324 watts). I'd like to keep the electric to a single 15 amp breaker including all lighting and accessories (not including AC come summer time).

I was originally planning to go with a vertical 600 in the tent and putting the 400 back in a hood over a small (3'x3'?) SOG table in a separate pandafilm tent, keeping mothers and clones under the T5 24/7. However, lately I'm really liking the idea of a 1000w magnetic ballast run to a splitter with 2 600w bulbs. I dont have the cooling power to run them stacked vertical in the tent. I was considering running one vertical in the tent and the other in a hood over the sog table. The only downside of course is if either bloom setup is not running I'm wasting electricity lighting nothing essentially. There is also the option of getting a secondary 600w ballast to run a single bulb as needed, but I'd rather not have to shell out more cash than necessary.

What would you do given the space with this power limitation?

Thanks

You can only safely use 1440 watts (12 amps) on a 120v 15amp circuit so just add up the wattage of your fans and lights and keep it under that number, do not exceed.

Good to know, thx for the info.

Currently in 1 room I have a 400 and 600 with fans and the whole nine yards. Didn't add up wattage, I need to, but it's working. I don't think 2 fans and a couple small things will add up to 440w for me. Thx again, and thx for the question. :thank you:

Here are some specs on regular run of the mill inline fans

4" 80 watts 170 cfm
6" 110 watts 424 cfm
8" 170 watts 590 cfm
10" 230 watts 790 cfm
12" 295 watts 1050 cfm

This might vary brand to brand but this is a general guide.

You could effectively double the amount of power in your bloom by constructing two different rooms and running each bloom on opposite schedules. Also if heat is an issue and this is a top floor, consider venting into the open trusses and out the roof vents.
