thought it would be a good idea to make a thread to share pictures of all the different varieties possible, for free ,from collecting random bagseeds over the years and taking that risky punt on something that could be hermie, crap, mutated, average,or amazing and unique.I have options of clones etc but i only grow personal and i like to take risks too.

heres a few of my random bagseeds, at 7 full weeks, ive got growing along with my ssh and old timer x kush. Some of the bag seeds are 7ft foor sativas ,some stout hybrids and lots of variety.

The joy a random collected seed can bring ,for me is amazing

i like my women leggy, lol. from seed i like to grow out to maturity, hence the sativa dominants are so tall.It doesnt concern me as i only grow for fun nowadays and i enjoy starting new seeds all the time rather than going for yield with same strain over and over.Takes the joy out of it for me using clones everytime,i love variety and taking risks.

bagseed growers ,post away

i especially love growing bagseed from decent outdoor imported ganja. We used to get some of the best sativas from local yardies late 90s.They had a hand in alot of the ganja market back then ,and had jamaican ,afrikan landrace strains.Congo Black being most sought after with the yardies.Sometimes you would get batches that were hybrids and it did all slow done with the influx of indoor growing and dick heads taking there crappy european hybrids and commercial strains to the farmers. The good traditional ganja now stays in jamaica and afrika and only few local farmers understand the qualities and have the brains to keep them going.sad times but everyone has different opinion.

I've been surprised by some of the freaky plants I've had from bagseed.....more from regular sensi indoor bud, than from exotic imported ganja.

BJ #2 grew like a runner bean.....more like a pure Thai than any commercial strain.....long spiralling buds....nothing like the bud the seeds came from.....

still working with a few of her offspring in a couple of outcrosses....all sorts of strange phenotypes...

hi blimey, variety is the spice of life and its great fun too.Sometimes you do find gems.I cant wait to smoke a few of my new ones ,the dense one looks like bubba kush and its just from import bagseed .......the "wideboy i tested at 6 weeks was explosive ,tasted very much like blues and is a 9-10 week flowerer looking at the trichomes.im very oldschool in my methods now and it goes to show what a monopoly of bullshit we have.I only have a few bagseeds as shown ,but i have swazi reds, mang haze x spg x swazi ,lambsbread, ssh, oldtimer x og kush and a few others too. However two of the bagseeds own the friggin' lot.

I've got a few hybrids in the works at the moment from bagseed.....couple of other growers have them as well....there is quality smoke to be found everywhere if people are willing to take the time and effort to pop some seeds and grow them out....but I understand totally why monocropping clones is where many people are at. Sucks when you spend 3 or 4 months growing something to get 1/2 oz out of it....

looks niceman!i can understand why people do it for money and sure fire yields and crops, but it is damaging to the gene pool globaly. The day i can only get fems or autofems is the day i jump off a cliff haha.peace

This one came from some bloody awfull street weed two years ago , not named in any credible way , was grown out to see what a particular source was running.

So far its as good as anything from a packet , makes you wonder what they do to make it so bad when sold.

Whatever its parentage its been good enougth to keep around , sogs well and good in low height cuboards and suchlike , not quite a keeper but too good to let go.

Nice thread :)

I don't often find seeded buds, unless i've been pollinating myself, but I love the mystery factor of it.

typically one of the bagseeds hermied a touch ,only one or two nanners but with some of my sativas maybe taking 15-20 weeks im not taking the risk so it got culled. Its the spider shaped spikey ,purple leaved bagseed.here is a 2 day quick dried bud i sampled,,,ok ,not great.should be an ok smoke in a few weeks, looks pretty though.Very leafy as expected as imature but is a better than a kick in the bollocks and frees up space for all my other plants.Definately an outdoor only strain this, maybe african.u can see a male sac on the third picture at the top section, middle. That the only problem with exotic bagseeds, lol, you have to be on toes for hermies and heartache, but one hermie out of 6 is fine especially with clones also in room its a gamble worth taking i feel,to always start new seeds .swazi reds ,and lambsbread are next to be planted.peace
