CO2 Sensor, Freon leak detection?

If I had a r22 refrigerant leak, would that cause my CO2 sensor to elevate its reading?

If your CO2 monitor is showing an increase that is getting to the danger limits start checking things now! I have no clue about R22, but you have a detector telling you something is wrong. Don't wait and find out why now. Your family may be in immediate danger.
