but some are like 10x spicier then other peppers(from the same plant)

if ya get one of those one pepper is a tad too much

still i am eating my hot pasta now , even if i know tomorrow i'll have stomach ache , i just love spicy food mmm

I've purchased 7 or so packs of duke pequin chilies. They are the C. frutescens....wild chilies that are very much like the Tabasco kind. I've got 3 seedling going now to see what the growth is like and how long it takes to mature. i can't wait to see what these can produce.

I dried some bhuts and plan to use them in some pizza sauce. That should be extra hot! :D

btw, any of you knows a good way to use a couple pounds of red jalapenos in the winter season? that meaning I won't stay outside, in the cold to smoke them for a day to make chipotle chillis.

i think the jalapeño popper recipe is earlier in this thread :) hehe soon we gotto make an archive with all the recipes hehe :D

fast recipe -

stuffing 1
chopped up cooked ham
cheese
chilies - jalapeños, or habaneros etc depending on heat wanted.

i also tried with;
fried minced beaf, garlic and onion chopped fine, with chilies of choice. actually pretty nice!

chop up the filling and stuff the jalapeños, then wrap then each in a bacon slice - put on an oven tray and oven roast them untill the bacon is properly done. :D

its actually so good, so i have adapted the recipe to the bubba (baccatum) and i did fill them with chopped jalapeño, habaneros and ham. today i was out of cheese, butthe bacon makes it so tasty i think i can handle not having cheese :D

also should say ripe red jalapeños make a nice chili powder to use in mexican recipes or anything u want to give that jalapeño flavour to ! :D

hehe - today im eating bubba poppers and jerk chicken with trinidad scorpion morouga blend.! im in for a HOT evening! got a cold beer and an almost frozen bottle of coca cola to cool my mouth hehe :D

peace!

hehe

the more chilies u eat the less u feel the heat. the morouga blends are some of the hottest there is, but i cant say i suffer that much anymore from using them in food. not eating or the day after lol.

lots of vitamins!

The stuffing part sounds nice. I need a receipe, please!
:tiphat:

I top em and clean the insides out, leave more membrane for more heat.

Put some cream cheese in a sandwich or ziplock bag and nip the corner off of the bottom (poor mans cake decorator) Use this to fill the cavity of the pepper.

Wrap with bacon.

Bake on a broiling tray at around 350-375*f until the bacon is cooked.

Simple quick, and guaranteed to fly off the plate when they're done!!! :D

Cold poppers;

Cut the pepper in half and remove seeds.
Fill half pepper with peanut butter.
Top with sharp Cheddar.

Sounds odd tastes great!
