Let's say you had bags & bags of dog food on hand that cost you nothing, would you know the right thing to do with it?

Let's say you had a bunch of food, diapers and other sundry items that you got for free & didn't really need, would you know where your local food shelf and Goodwill locations are?

Just wondering what most of the members here would do with a windfall of unneeded goods.......

well if i got em from basically cheating a store i probably wouldnt care. i myself know where to donate just about anything and do .

OK, I don't intend to slam anyone here, please don't trash you know who either.

sorry if you're offended by the above pics, I'll take them down if need be.

my point here is that if you enjoy a bounty that exceeds your needs please find someone needy to help with it, Salvation Army, Goodwill, Humane societies all depend on outside help/donations.

people that aquire goods on the down low, aint usually caring individuals and mostly only concerned for their own well being. reguardless how it affects others.if they would spend all that energy on something posative who knows what they could accomplish . and be able to hold their head up.

Mine would watch too if we let him. If he is left in the room when it goes down he goes and grabs his bite sleeve toy and goes to humpty town, the only time he'll touch the damn thing is when were getting it on :biglaugh:

Hilarity. Ugh, I cant stop laughing.

Thats fucked up man. My dog has shredded a few pairs of panties in his time. My ex used to find a them all ripped up and start demanding that I get his balls clipped.

She's gone. Hes still around, balls intact.

I just had to remove that last pic from the thread, I broke the link so it will not appear again, it was just too sad to see. I'm going to keep the humane society in my life, heart and budget, if I ever get a lucky windfall I'll do some real good with it for them.

F. Dupp was kind enough to visit his local shelter with his son; visiting and making a donation seemed to register with his boy in a positive way perhaps his beginning to understand there's 2 sides to every coin, this is the side of pet ownership not encountered or witnessed by 90%+ of society.

The dogs I posted above are extreme cases & you would likely never see them in a shelter as 'adoptable' companions unless and until they can be brought back to health and be proven approachable by people. These shelters need your help and it is never wasted money, donate dry foods, canned food, biscuits, feline goods too if you're a kitty kinda person, they are all in need.

EDIT:
It looks like it's gonna take some time for that pic to come down.

I see no one has mentioned the elderly, people who are stuck in their homes or in nursing homes. A weekly visit, a few meals, can go a long way.

put the people who keep dogs this way in with me for 5 mins, would be the end of their careers!
Just 5 mins, id change the way they think/move forever!

i know a few idiots who go bagger baiting n fox hunting for fun, with 10 dogs Vs 1-2 badgers/fox, real fight & they compare it to bull fighting & wonder why i hate their ways. if it wasnt for the mass of commercial birds they kill & general cause a pest id really fk em all off!
