My pleasure. :D Everything snap to attention and looking pretty?

5-10 is really for flowering under fluorescents or other lower-light flowering setups. Once you go below a certain feed level you start getting almost the exact same symptoms as a deficiency of some sort. Plant is just scavenging itself for the nutes it needs.

This is old lucas info... wonder why nobody knows it??

Stay Safe! :D

I would not say they look pretty yet, however they don't look worse like they have every single day this week. I have a feeling tomorrow they will actually have some new growth on them. I will keep everyone updated

hum....

My opinion is this..

RH needs to be higher.. im going to predict you cant achieve this...
so you can do the following.

Spray your plants with NORMAL water 2-3 times a day. THEY WILL LOVE YOU.
MJ likes higher RH then what you have as long as they got the air flow.
(if you want.. you cant but up to you.. you can add 1tsp molasses per gallon of spray, this is something i do with my veggies)

other than that, seems like they are nto gettin worse, so ill wait for an update.

You're entirely welcome. :D

I didn't spend all those years using/studying it without learning something at least. Glad I could help.

I believe you're correct OSBC.... I can't find any threads where folks are using 6/9 in hydro... just coco and hempy coco.
As for 8-16 in veg... Yep, you most certainly can. I prefer to add a tiny bit of N from another source though... they grow a bit faster/stronger.

Not sure but I believe I remember reading of at least a few growers that used 6/9 in hydro.... could very well be mistaken though.

Snapfrost: Keep us posted on the progress... you may want to up the strength to 8-16, per normal Lucas, and play around with the 6/9 when you have plants to play with, just to be on the safe side... know what I mean? :D

Another thing to mention is that these plants are under 2000w of light. They can handle the full Lucas 8/16 formula. The only thing I would do differently is take ur ph down to 5.2 and let it drift back up.

Hydro, I have to agree with u that 8/16 with GH nutes and RO is a perfect setup. I have spent the last year and a half running Advanced and nothing is easier the GH with the Lucas. Matter of fact I am going to run my next cycle with just that.

Damn Hydro-Soil.

A weaker man would have said, "I told you so."

Keep up the good work

Good points Asil. Especially the pH bit.

pH changes how well your plant can absorb different nutrients.... it's REALLY nice for your plants if you start at a lower pH and allow it to drift up before adjusting. If you have a tds pen you can usually use nutes instead of pH up for this.

How low would you set the pH? That depends on your setup.

In hydro with an auto-top off on your res.... I would set it at around 5.2. When the water evaporates the solution gets stronger and the pH drops. With an auto-top off the pH will usually only go up.

In hydro with a manual top off on your res.... I would set it at around 5.4. This way the pH has .2 points to drop as the water evaporates... before you get home and top it off yourself.

How high do you let the pH go?? Generally I don't like to go over 6.1 and usually drop it down when it hits 6.0

Your plants will LOVE you for this. :D

Stay Safe! :D

p.s. Ziggaro: Thanks. I like to believe that people are only as good as the information and upbringing they've been exposed to... can't imagine how great we'd all be in a perfect world. :D
