Consistently mango Aussie sativa???

High everyone,

Wondering if anyone here might know of the typically consistent mango flavoured sativa that gets around the Nth Coast NSW. I've come across this strain numerous times around the Mullumbimby area where I live. I gather that some of its grown around here and I know of some coming in from around Grafton but it rarely has a single bean in it.

This sativa is very potent and never varies in taste or smell, just always mango to the extreme. I'm yet to find seed to this stuff but I am on the hunt to find her.

Anyone around these boards know anything of it?

I heard that someone at Tuntable Falls still grows it. I remember smoking it in the late eighties, superb looking, smelling, tasting and effect. Heard that Cambodian dope often smells mangoey, that piece of info came from Shantibaba who cut his chops around Main Arm. Also heard that some Northern Thai and South Indian can smell of mangoes. Even heard that the Mango heads of old were Mullumbimby Madness x Durban Poison. I've heard a lot of shit. Let us know how you go.

Yeah I know the mango your talking about and it is some of the best. Used to get it around scots head and macksville in the nineties. Had branches that half wood reek of overripe mangoes and the other half deep purple that smelled of the nicest candy/lavender you could imagine. I have kept an eye out ever since but haven't found it. I think it had Thai and viet lineage but this is hearsay. Maybe mns mango haze could be worth looking at? Did you get mango taste and smell in your mango haze bushy?

Yes KITCHA, the Mango Haze definitely has the Mango Aroma and the strong uplifting high. I haven't grown that many so can't say you'll find any really trippy phenos, but I suspect you can.

Some of this landed in my lap as a teenager mid 90s In SE QLD care of N.NSW. 15 years later, still the best canna flavour I've experienced. Waaaaaant!

yep, she's hard to beat for sure and I'll follow up some leads on the basis of your suggestions...surely some of the most impressive smoke I've come across in this area and a credit to any grower that produces it.

I'll report back if I find access to any beans. meanwhile, I might give shanti's Mango Haze a go.

Good luck with your hunt Billy, if we are talking about the same mango it defines the word cerebral high and lasts for hours.. I smoked it as a kid and the intensity of the high was something a lot of today's strains lack. With the old school strains coming back in popularity we will surely find that special high we all miss in the haze revolution that is about to take over the kush craze lol, keep us posted on your hunt. i feel compelled to contribute to this thread because i am growing (and smoking every day) Mango Haze from Mr. Nice seed co.

if you are having trouble finding the cut you want, those genetics are available in seed form. i had to grow out 11 girls to get it but now i have it!!!

the closest thing i have found to the absurdly astounding Jamican i once smoked around 1970, it smells and tastes just like a mango without the sugar. just to smell it burning, it smells like church incense.

it's the real deal that i have been looking for for a loooong time, so i just had to pipe up.

hmmm. now I 'm just wondering ... could it be that MY sativa, inbred for fifteen, No sixteen seasons now, might just be linked to what you're after?

SOME of my plants ... not all ... are mango flavoured ... and as age creeps up on me I am able to smoke less and less of this ... so is I weaker or am de plants gettn stronger?

might be the plant yr after ... or might have the genes.

gosh! this little old hippie lost in the woods might be of some use to society after all!
