Chronic vs AK47 vs Critical Mass

While I've never grown GWS, I do not see myself growing anything GH, I'd recommend Double Dutch instead. It's 1/2 Chronic and would do great in a SOG.
Serious is in charge of Magus strains now. Should be a good thing.

Gerrit was one of the best in the biz.
I hope things are well for him, where ever he is.
His strains were/are awesome, just the way they are.
If the strains remain the same, it'll be great.

AK47 is one of the only strains that i have grown that i would buy another pack of, actualy there is no other strains that i have grown and that are still available i would buy another pack of (well apart from Neville´s Haze)

I've had Chronic grown by a few friends, have grown AK-47.

Haven't grown CM, but other similar Skunk crosses.

Of these, if I had to choose;

For SOG - AK-47 or the CM or a Skunk cross

For bush - CM or a Skunk cross

Chronic just doesn't rate in my books very highly. All that I have had have been just VERY AVERAGE potency, big buds, but lots of very leafy phenos = not so good bag appeal.

its got the best smell ! the best taste !! still very powerfull, and its a massive yeilder ( right pheno )

ak47 is the most powerfull , with a huge yeild

chronic cant realy compete with these 2 strains , in my mind its a none starter !!

long as its either critical mass or ak47 you wont be disapointed

honestly this is a no brainer ak47..more potentcy and better phenos..mns u have to pheno hunt to much..truthfully i always felt shark shock/gws was better than cm..great taste n buzz and some seriously frosty phenos..just mvho...

Go for AK47, I've grew out all 3 and the AK was the best, with chronic taking second IMO

I have grown out 3 packs of ak over the last 2 years. In each pack I have gotten one pheno that is a short stocky absolute beast of a yielder. The only trouble is that I have not gotten to keep it around because that pheno seems to auto flower at the drop of a hat. That being said I think your looking for the hybrids anyways. Super crop or lst and you will hit good yield numbers.

The plants are hardy and easy to grow and will take heavy nutes. Things to watch out for, dont let them get root bound, do not continue veg nutes for the first week of flower, the better the temps the better she will perform, they seem to be more sensitive then other plants to light leaks and dont be surprised or worried if you see some late flower bananas if things are not ideal.

The buds are low, low odor, have medium frost coverage, taste very good and have a powerful high/stone.

I got a really really great pheno out of a pack of AK47 several years ago, instant sativa hit that went straight to your head and eyes, visual stimulation and a very happy high but it could be intense for a non seasoned toker. It was some of the quickest hitting weed that I've had the pleasure of smoking. Has anyone grew out AK47 from recent years? Are Serious Seeds still breeding with the same P1's?

I dont know why some people hate on chronic, it yeilds too well? too comercial? lol dunno but the pack I grew out was fruity w/ a nice indy up buzz, a surfers stone we used to call it. Its not the most potent herb in the world but when grown right its much more then the commercial strain its often dismissed as.

strange, apart from 1 full hermie that showed within the first 2 weeks of flowering neither me or my 2 friends saw any bananas at all, and their growrooms arent perfect

and i thought it was some of the stinkiest shit i ever grew, carbon filter was just a waste of money as it couldnt keep up with the smell, and the dried buds where impossible to carry around, and where super frosty (think whitewidow frosty), but maybe i was just lucky

a friend of mine grew out chronic around the same time i grew AK47, and honestly they yield about the same, but AK got better taste and potency

i dont hate chronic , its just from my findings it cant compete in any area with ak47 or critical mass !!

its a subjective thing peoples like's , and also its about what people happen to find in there pack or 2 of seeds !!

chronics i found were big yeilding bland tasteing bland smelling plants !

ak47's i found were very powerfull but alot of sativaish phenos the buds wernt dense and the smell didnt appeal at all

the best critical mass pheno i found were the best smelling intense pure fruit cocktail, colourfull dense hard buds ! with a buzz much stronger than the chronic and only slightly less than the best ak47,

suppose could do a pick and mix and get 5 of each , see what comes out of the 15 ,

WR have more a ww high than an AK ( afghani skunk type of high )

I prefered WR

Its kind of funny this came up today because i just started to trim ak within the hour. each generation does get better and better. this batch is more frosty and more lime green. the only change i made was to add powdered kool bloom. the smell is still not overpowering but its got a good smell when you open the bag, sweet and sour hard to describe.

here is a picture of SS cronic at about 6 weeks. All grown froom seed, untopped in orginic soil mix. Shit yield big....smoke had enough kick to thrill most. Still I have grown more potent strains like ak47 with out the yield that cronic did for me. Chronic was a cash cropper for me for a few years along with a speacial SwT#3. if considering yield with good punch i'd think about sweet tooth #3 or sotf420 Swt#4ibl for prodution.

the bou is giving away packs of swt#3 with every order right now. Your going to find some big yielders in the pack.

Gotta agree with the AK47...and mostly on the quality of the high.

Chronic is nice and strong but nothing special on the high. Dropped some chocolate in the cure jar to try and improve the taste.

White Russian is a hard smash to the face...strong as hell, but without any subtleties either. Industrial grade. It sure produces well though. Never a complaint when friends smoke this.

My Chronic plants produced more than the WR.
