Sensi germ problems

Hey guys I've recently started 70 odd seeds. 20/20 of MNS medman and 40/40 MNS walkabout all popped in on day 1 or 2. It's day 4 now and they're all above soil going good. Along with 10 freebies I had lying around. But my Sensi Seeds Ed Rosenthal Super Bud? 0/10. I had them in water for 12 hours then transferred to moist paper towels in an humid airtight bag. Same method as all the other seeds, same time.. I know I shouldn't expect to get results in a day or two like I got with MNS but this is ridiculous.

Any tips on what I can do to get these seeds to germ? They look like a good 12 hours under water would get them going

planted 20 hashplant from sensi a year or so ago, over 2 weeks 3 germed, and none of them where keepers, their silverhaze is better for rope than smoking, so tbh spend your money somewhere else, as their seeds are either old or just not worth growing

imao, a pre-soak in water won´t help the germination much. you can do it with 4-5 years+ old seeds. the more expensive sensi strains are not topsellers anymore. to many new seedbanks with fancy named crosses entered the attention of new and old growers.
I guess the stock you bought must have been not the freshest. maybe it wasn´t stored correct at the reseller... I do feel kinda sorry for you.
try to put them in dirt or coco, water until moist, not wet. keep it moist.
keep at 25 celsius, humidty 50-60% and give them another 4-5 days to germi. good luck!

I have noticed peepz get better germ ratio with Nirvana seeds and they are also very cheap.

So many complaints and bad storie's about this seed company that were once such pioneers in the breeding industry. Make's me wonder if they are worthy anymore, or rather what happened ?

I tried 10 mother's finest seeds a year or two ago and none popped. They looked like dried up raisins out of the package. I won't order any more of their seeds.

Well I have transferred them to soil now, as the soil has natural fungicide so may help the seeds germ with the longer time frame. None of them looked like they'd germ though, looking very sad. Have had 100% success rate with all other seeds.

Could be age, could be Sensi outsourcing breeding.. all that is certain is that these seeds aren't looking like germing.

The rest are going well. Great growth rates with the medman and walkabout under 24/0.

Have really high airflow for the walkabouts that are going outdoors. Very strong intake fan on them with passive exhausts, keeps good temps here. Some were a week or two started before I got my hands on them, they are getting strong. Will be interesting to see how seeds a few weeks behind but in better conditions for those weeks turn out.

Had a seed come up and got excited because it was with the super bud. Turns out it was just a fem freebie on the side and not a Sensi.

I only tried their indoor mix once, 3/40 popped, and because of that experience never tried them again. If you other seeds are all popping it's obviously not your technique that is in question.

I got their SuperSK this year... started a couple seeds two days ago, both borned and well. I had not so good germ rates with their NL a few years ago... Also tried Black Domina and G13xHP, good germ rates.

5 or so years ago I popped a pack of Shiva Skunk, 1 sickly mutant seedling popped and quickly died. Ordered another pack of Shiva Skunk and none popped.

Last year I ordered TFD's Pot of Gold, none popped. Since Sensi now owns TFD, I didn't bother ordering another pack. I ordered Golden Skush instead, 100% germed.

Something's up over at Sensi/TFD. I hope they get it straightened out, because there are some Sensi strains I'd like to get someday.

No action yet from the Sensi.. Walkabout, medman and A's fem freebies (cole train and white siberian especially) all going well.

I picked up some Sensi Jack Herer seeds in 2008. Planted them late last year and ended up with 3 females, 3 males with 4 not germinating. The seeds were kept at room temps for the 2+ years in storage so not too bad considering. All 3 females turned out to be top notch smoke so no complaints here
