First grow: 300+ plant 3000 watt vertical

I'm harvesting the critical + tent this week. Some of the buds have snapped due to being unable to support their own weight which makes me sad because they were not fully ripe. I also realized I have an infestation of root eating gnats which I killed off very easily with an organic and food safe product. Thank you icmag! With any luck at all this first tent with a 1000 watt bare bulb should yield 2 -3 pounds. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow. All in all I learned a heck of a lot for a first grow and it'll only get better from here!!!!

I removed the fan leaves as you said, most of them anyways. I left some at the bottoms so that there'll be a little green left on the plants to reveg and left the ones attached to bud-sites except the dead ones like you said. I taped the lamp cord up better but won't get a chain until this weekend when I have time off work. This is why I'm so glad to be an ICMAG member, you might have just saved my house from burning down!!! +rep The guy at the hydro shop seemed pretty experienced but he didn't know much about vertical growing, and freely admitted that. I just took his word when he looked it up and found me those vertical cords.

My local shop keeper answered to my question wether it is okay to hang MH lamp vertically: "Why would you want to hang it vertically - you're loosing lumens." I just stared at him and mumbled something, bought the lamp and hung it vertically.

Good luck on it though. It's possible, my first grow went for 1.5lb off of a 600w. And jesus christ that is a lot of pot.

Lol... Don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch bro... 2-3lbs is a great yield, for an experienced grower. I'm not saying you won't hit 2lbs, but keeps your expectations low so you're not disappointed when those buds shrink after drying.

Thhat being said, every harvest is a good harvest, and congrats on your first... You deserve to be rewarded for your work.

Next time, put some chicken wire on the ceiling and hang up some horti-trellis to give those plants the extra support they need.

• Don't go in high.
• Know exactly what you want and why you want it.
• Don't ask questions from the people who work there, except for questions like "Do you carry 'Brand X, Model Y'?"

Sounds interesting... I'm finishing up 165 feminized seeds all hand watered in 1 gallon pots, lol! Watering every 2 days min at peak bloom that was using compost (soil-less mix though) done the similar with coco and clones under 3.6kw and was hand watering daily 140+ plants!! It becomes a real chore quickly

How long will u be vegging these seeds?

100 per 1k should be some sight!! + 1gpw with those numbers should be as DHF/ Bobble et al like to say baby shit
