Well I thought that it would be interesting to start a thread that had to do with the MICRO experience as a whole......

My first micro was built for less than $100 and it allowed my to get a 1kw after the first harvest.

Thats what micro has done for me. :)

took me a bit longer, but yah,

the first few cfls saved me enough money to buy bigger lights and those in turn saved me enough money to finally get my 600w hps (along with fans and stuff lol)

I wouldn't be growing right now if it weren't for my little cab. Someday I'll go a little bigger, but it'll still be for personal use.

My little cab is very therapeutic for me from "cutting" to smoke, through out the process i'm always thinking about how to maximize my space and the medicine that is produced. It is amazing what a garden can do for me, my ganja garden inspired me to do vegetable garden. Also I am taking a green house production class at my local community college in order to learn more about plants in general.

Overall a wonderful thing

Micro has pretty much taught me how to grow. It cost me ~$150 to get started, which was perfect. I cannot grow on a larger scale due to many other factors. I also grow on a personal scale so micro is perfect.

if u can learn to grow ina micro setup sucessfully then u should be able to grow anywhere off the knowledge from growin mirco. u learn everything ina not so suitible envionment and make it work to please the ladies. everything from airflow, lighting, growing styles, and feeding/watering wich i.m.o is harder in micro because everything is smaller and more vurnerable to human error.
everything u learn in micro can be addapted and upgraded to a larger scale if or when u want.
Micro and this forum has tought me alot about growing these beautiful flowers. thats what it has done for me.

as i am still learning to "micro grow" i have been taught that even in a smaller space it doesnt mean smaller problems, when in fact they are the same size no matter the size of your growing area. this is a test run for me for micro growing and as i find it very entertaining the thought of my rubbermade tub stashed in a closet under many other totes and other misc things, its still very dependent on me even tho its not a 8ft bush. LST (yet to be done but its time to do so), temp/vent/lighting/smell control all on a miniature basis but amazingly fun!

For me its theraputic as well as a money saver. The full cycle of change happens so fast with weed compared to other plants that I find it rewarding creating it all. I started out in a mini fridge, computer case, training and getting all the issues sorted by trial and error. With a small space you need to tend a little more I think, temps can be a problem sometimes, space is limited so training is usually a must. Im still growing micro Id say, with a 250w cab. But look out when I get a 12' x 12' room becase if I can grow in a fuckin' soup can watch what that'll do.
Peace.

Right on..a problem is a problem, and it's the same plant. Nothing but experience gained no matter what size the grow is

I think my 2x2x5' tent with 265 watts is in the micro range. It has allowed me to be free from buying pot from dispensaries or dealers, tailor my strain selection for exactly my needs, and given me a lot of enjoyment in learning to grow pot. This is just the beginning too, and I do not mean I will be going to larger grow ops.

I started off growing with a 600w HPS, my 2nd was 1200W HPS.

Since then i have had to scale down to micro.
Imo stealth micro growing is the most fun, the feeling you get when you DIY something and it works is awesome.

All 3 of my Micro cab builds where a pleasure from start to finish.
