yeah Biggggggg snow storm .... not ! we got an inch maybe & its all melted now as i said we're in a good spot here most of the storms miss us .

i put in my snow time in new england. now i am older and dont wanna deal with that shit.but it is very beautifull and i miss that aspect, along with all the lakes and streams.no much seasons here in sd.if i wanna see snow i can drive to it easy enough tho. walking through the forest after a fresh snow is amazing

yes, the snow season showed up a bit early, saw an interesting stat on this
in the region hit, there have been 4 significant snow events in October over the last 120 years
1st one was in the 1880's, 2nd was 1987, 3rd was on Thursday, 4th was yesterday
the times, they are a changing

Well our biggest is 7 inches in a month that had 7.5 in 1979, and we normally get 60 plus inches a year. This one was 15 inches here! I couldn't believe what I was seeing on the yardstick! Areas just north of me had 2 feet, areas just south of me had 6 inches. Not all that far away they had up to 32 inches! We have been without power from Saturday evening until less than 2 hours ago! But, we got a generator, not a huge one so couldn't do everything like normal, but it was bearable. I busted my butt shoveling and snow blowing, but do I hate it? Hell no, it was amazing! Beautiful too, so it was a little inconvenient, so what? I loved it, complaining is for pussies!

PS. it was in the high 40's and in the last 2 days it was in the low 50's, so the snow is almost all gone now. I don't mind for now, but I hope it gets back to lower temps and snow soon! peace
