Bayer Advanced Complete application questions?

I've been reading the numerous threads on fighting Root Aphids with Bayer Advanced Complete and was wondering if I can just mix it in my reservoir with my nutes (GH micro/bloom) or should i mix and water it in without nutes? Also what application rate is recommended per gallon? And is one application enough or should I do multiple? thanks

i am in all perlite and I mixed it with my gh lucas nutes. i used 20 and 40 ml per gallon. one application was enough for my whiteflies and what I think were some kind of springtails.

running coco and DWC, I used 5ml per gallon mixed in with a regular feeding and it took care of the root aphids. I only apply to plants in veg and I started giving all my babies one 5ml/gal application when they are a few weeks out of the cloner. my garden has been nicely bug free except for the random fungus gnat. I hope this keeps me bug free in the summer.

I think this is a great product if you are fighting the aphids. 5ml/gal worked great, good luck!

Much like chucky ^ I only use it in veg. I mixed in about 2ml in with my nutes and did a full soak watering (coco)..this stuff is really strong and really bad for you..I hate to use it.

wow bobman 20-40 ml per gallon!? That sounds like wayyy too much. I guess some of the products have slightly different strengths..but still, I picked the one of the shelf with the lowest concentration, and 2ml did it for me. Don't always go by the directions on the bottle..this stuff is for spraying whole trees outside.

Appreciate the info guys! So do you think one application (1 watering drain to waste in coco with 15 ml/gallon) will be enough to kill them? Or should I chance another application? I would like to avoid another application if possible, but if I have to I have to.
