I wish I could run a shed too. But not at 20 below zero. Too cold for me to go out to every day not to mention all the shoveling.

I wired all my receptacles waiting for the carpenters to have my roof ready to install, and my electrician is coming over after work to make the connections! I will have life in my new shed! Just in time too, I need to move the Goosh into the new shed and finish vegging them there, to make room for my Chocolope clones which are outgrowing the cloner...
Good news on the reverting clones, I am finally getting 3 and 5 leaf serrated leaves. I was a bit worried there for a minute, but now I am going to have some monsters on my hand. The inter-node formations are crazy!

You will like Silica Blast it helps build cellular wall development, I also believe this helps in the plants being slightly more hardy in larger temp swings,....do you use "Angus's Tea" from the store in Ben Lomond if not...I should introduce you to him, ALL the growers I know use his special blend, this guy is a fooking chemistry genius I just ran his "tea" in my room yesterday (well Gro-bro did), we have had really good results with it but I don't know if "teas" can be used in DWC systems???
I know Angus, and yes he knows his shit, and I ran his tea last run, but it gummed up my pump real bad. I think he said that he can run it through a finer screen, but I have not messed around with it since.

When GH was at SC Hydro, the rep pulled me aside and gave me one of each which was an $80 value! My only complaint is that it turns my soup dark, but the plants love it...
We wired the shed last night, only to realize that we need another ground wire, grrrrr... He told me to run 3 wires, and now we have to pull the wire out of the conduit and run the 4th wire before we can have juice out there. I picked up the wire today and he is coming over early tomorrow to finish the wiring.
All 5 of my USD are showing roots now, so I am still batting .1000 for clones! The funny thing is, I did everything contrary to what I am supposed to do. I 45 the stem with scissors, no rooting hormone, and a 4-500 ppm nute mix. I do hit it with H2O2 every 3-4 days to keep the pathogens at bay. I could probably get roots a couple of days sooner if I implemented some rooting hormone, but I like to be able to push my luck sometimes. Plus, it proves how stupid easy cloning can be with a DIY cloner...

I am going to be removing my 60gal res from my veg area and moving it to the flower room. I installed a 4gal feeder bucket that is connected to the float valve in the control unit. I figure the plants won't drink as much in veg as they will in flower.

My electrician came over at 6:30 this morning and we finished up the wiring. Tested all the outlets and there was no voltage drop at all. They all read 120 and 240... I have one 40amp 240v breaker, and 4 20amp 120v. Plus a 20amp breaker that will feed my mother/veg room when I run the conduit.
Now just need to run a water line to feed my RO system, but I can just leave a couple pieces of rock off til I can do that. But now I can insulate and rock next week.
I discovered that I am still fighting the dreaded Borg! I notice small light colored spots showing up on the leaves, and sure enough they spread from the original clones to the rest of the plants. I used up the last of my Mitey Wash, and in a few days I will hit them with neem oil, before I go "Nucular"...

Well, I've been reading and crunching the numbers...I've decided to go VERT!!! Ebb & Gro System with 6 pots around 1 1000w bulb. So I need 2 1000w bulbs. Anyone have suggestions on bulbs and cooling the room?
ARMINUS- I use a retry small amount of rooting hormone in our clones and early in veg,,,,explosive results! Geat job on the wiring....

Sorry about the vague nature of my post. I need the best bulbs (1000w) MH & HPS that you the veteran vert growers use and are happy with the results. I called my hydroponics store just now and the highlighted words were "exspensive" & "special order" lol my store is awesome and he always sells items for cost, so if he says it's exspensive then it's not going to be pretty lol
Just my opinion Ushio.....I do not use MH at all so no opinion their. I have heard of newer bulbs that have BOTH MH & HS.....features built into them....again never had any experience with them so no opinion.
Keep it green .....oh and Arminus...those green roots looks sick....I gotta call you tonight or tomorrow as well.

I have a 600w Dual ARC bulb, I asked the hydro store if it could be hung vert, but they said no. Glad I only paid $60 for it.
