A not so happy happy brother

Well to make a long story short


my mom collection has been at a friends place since april 2011 due to circumstances


i was just about the bring the gals back home next month


But to my horror i went to visit my friends who where taking care of them and discovered they killed my(replaceable) NLX mom


But i also saw my beloved happy brother mom , she was close to dying.

This was due to 100% pure lazyness as the plants are located 10 metres from their fuckign couch.

Now you gotta understand , i payed for the extra electricity , i gave them outdoor plants to grow on their balcony(= free weed) AND i borrowed them my homebox XL complete with 20 cuttings of the nicest strains(mirre , sssdh etc)


So that is like more then a pound of free weed just to show my gratitude for taking care of the moms


Well, they fucked up their indoor grow under 600 watt , also cuz of total lazyness. They will yield max 150 grams of very small buds

that all aside(had to vent a lil ) this is the "happy" brother now

They first almost killed her off by underwatering

i then transplanted her last week , but to my horror they overwatered her badly(i think to somehow make up for the neglect)


This has caused root rot

I then transplanted the Hb again yesterday to DRY new soil, i have put her under a heating pad for reptiles and a duo fluor 110 watts


between yesterday and today i lost quite a bit of leaves

But now that she is in dry soil she seems to be stabilizing.

All i need is ONE healthy set of leaves



So basically i need all the advice i can get, maybe i overlook something

i lost quite a bit of branches this way they shrivel up

The plan now is to first let the soil become drier for like 4-5 days, so the roots will go in search of liquids , then if i see she is stabil and there is no more decay , i want to put her under the sprinkler system in the Greenhouse to avoid any overwatering



Till then i want to spray her daily with rhyzotonic and some hypro foliar spray

Is there more i can do besides waiting and hoping for the best?


Maybe a humidity dome??? When i transplanted her i saw almost all her roots where fucked)

It would be real sad to lose this fantastic strain

I would suggest maybe a shot of Lilly-Miller plant starter. It would help her get her legs back under her.

Ahh the waiting game....... Had a sickly so cal master kush that looked like that after a nasty case of pyth hit my cloner. What saved my ass was a foliar feed at low dose for a few weeks and bare minimum waterings. Good luck had a friend like yours once.....

The product jump start from advanced might help, i use it to spray unrooted clones, it makes them produce very nice white fuzzy roots. you can spray it daily.

You can pick some up free at the shop when you want.

well they are dumb as far as growing is concerned and i will never trust cthem with a plant again , but as far as non growing things are concerned they are good friends

the happy brother was dead when i woke up today


I'll leave her under the duo fluor for a few weeks to see if something happens , who knows some roots survived...
luckily i managed to cut 8 clones from a flowering HB ,

Let's hope for the best........ never took clones from a flowering plant before

Been in the same boat buddy. Flowering cuts take longer but it will root.. just keep hopin man. I have some happy brother crosses as well.

no but seriously , i tried it once with flowering cuts , they rooted , but the bud started to mold

that's why i plan on aireating the propagator more often and i'll use a fungicide and The Jump start i got from Karma

cuz i am out of superthrive , but Karma gave me a bottle of jumpstart(thx)

Im' using it now for the flowering clones i took


i sprayed the clones and soaked the cubes in it. On day 4 now , in 10 days i'll know if they'll make it


the rooting part is no problem , but i am afraid of mold cuz there are small budsites

gonna go buy a fungicide against botyritis tomorrow



I also had a plan c should they mold : the happy bro mom have in the greenhouse is small so the roots wont be that deep


i was thinking bout harvesting her and leaving quite a few bottom branches and then i wanted to transplant her from the earth to a 50 liter pot and then under a 600 watt hps


i did this before with blueberries from the forest , let's hope it will work for our happy bro


but first we'll see if they will root without rotting

the plant is already dead , and i also revived plants like this


but this plant had massive root rot , that's why she didnt make it , she just slowly faded out like a candle

Wow...I would probably never speak to that friend ever again. There is no excuse for treating things like that. If he didn't know how to do something, or made a mistake in feeding..that is one thing...

but to not be able to get up off the couch and take care of something so dear to you...is not really much of a friend.

Hope your HB feels better. I don't own HB...but it is on my wish list. Karma Genetics are where its at

Worst case you can always reveg your HB in flower. So you're not gonna lose your strain thankfully.

yes but i planted in the earth in my greenhouse a hole in the ground, transplanted when she was flowering a week from 8 gallons

but i hope if i transplant her to a 15 gallon pot she'll make it

dont have good experience with weed and transplanting them from ground to pot

my moms are finally home , i can sleep on both ears now

all are well and healthy , a few almost died judgung from the levaes but then at some point got very vigorious again

Only my amnesia mom is half flowering


i wonder how that is possible, all other plants are normal and under 18/6
