anyone tried canola oil based stuff for root aphids?

i had a slight root aphids probleme, soaked the soil with some Canola oil. 1.5ml each 100ml of water
No sign of them 1week later, pulled them of pots to look at the roots and couldnt see nothing.

I've never heard of a slight root aphid problem, usually by the time you try and fix the magnesium deficiency and notice it isn't fixing the problem, they have had enough time to populate and cover your plants roots in wax, then you notice you plants are looking more F'ed by the day end. Then as your standing there scratching your head thinking, "more epsom salt?" About that time the plant starts showing sings of internal infection, then you have a battle on two fronts to fight, then deal with how to address your roots being covered in wax. Even if you kill all the root aphids and the internal infections, the plants still won't want to grow because the roots can't uptake nutrients since the wax is blocking it.

Thats kind of like saying, I have a slight migraine.

Not trying to belittle you Jaromir, just having fun recounting my own experience, kinda laughing to myself about it. At the time though, it was not funny, at all.

for me it was better then getting all my roots eaten, small dosage and a good flush afther wards worked good for me and plants are still puting weight

*Even if you kill all the root aphids* at least wont have them next grow :)
