Steve Jobs and Hash Oil

There is no treatment for pancreatic cancer...it is the worst

The fact that he lived for so long was a medical marvel in itself...pays to be rich sometimes...

Not so sure that Simpson oil would not have worked. Problem being for many it is a last resort, often coming along too late. Michelle Rainey would be and example of this. She was seeing many changes from the oil, but it was too late. Peace GS

Not sure what Simpson oil is... But

I heard that Steve Jobs declined his Doctors advice and pursued an alternate course of treatments that were based on Homeopathy and they were not effective. The Doctors found his cancer early enough that he would have had a much higher probability of survival if he had followed their advice.

I had heard that he was open minded to drug use early on so I thought he may have tried it. I don't understand how more people have not heard of Rick Simpson and the Run From the Cure videos. Just curious of other peoples thoughts on this is all...

In his new biography, it says that he tried a fruit and other natural methods for 6-9 months (it was one or the other, 6 or 9) and avoided current methods that would fry his body. So, in this case money had nothing to do with it.

Also he was one of the 5% of pancreatic cancer patients that has a slow growth and is known as being the only type that doctors are optimistic about successfully defeating it. He lived since 2004, I believe, with it. So the 5% type he had didn't save him, but gave him much more time.

I read somewhere that he was offered Rick Simpson's oil and turned it down because he would have not been eligible for his liver transplant if they found evidence of illegal drug use in a drug test. Who knows?

Would they really deny someone a life saving transplant because they use cannabis? That's just wrong on so many levels. The politicians who make the law keep repeating the same lies about the dangerous effects of marijuana. In reality, the prohibition laws hurt people and destroys lives more efficiently than any drug.

I don't know the details of how Steve Jobs treated his cancer, but it's sad that he (and millions of others) might have been denied access to something that could have helped cure the disease or helped him live longer.

but he ALSO said right before his death , he SHOULD of done what the doctors told him and not tried the natural methods....

Cannabis is one natural method that really works, though. I'm a believer in the scientific method. Homeopathy and some other alternative treatments really don't have scientific evidence to back up their claims.

Just do a search on pubmed for cannabinoids, and you'll see dozens of real scientific studies showing how THC, CBD, and other cannabinoids can help fight cancer. Some of the studies use synthetic cannabinoid receptor agonists, but the results seem to be the same. Cannabinoids in general trigger cancer cells to stop dividing and die while leaving normal cells unaffected. In animal studies, cannabinoids alone have cured mice and rats who would have otherwise uncurable cancers. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but there's a growing body of scientific evidence supporting the use of cannabinoids as an effective cancer treatment.

I don't think people should ignore their doctor's advice for treatment, though. If I was in that situation, I would go ahead with the conventional treatment and start a high dose hash oil regimen in parallel. Nothing's going to magically work for 100% of the cases, but I believe that the current state of the art treatment alongside cannabinoid therapy would give the best chance for long term survival.

Lets put ourselves in his shoes, would YOU use phoenix tears or radiation? i probably wouldn't use radiation myself.. i'd use the oil and live as long as i possibly could from it.

I would do both. There is no reason that you can't use homeopathic remedies while being treated conventionally.

I just lost a good friend who could not consume cannabis because he was on a transplant list. Unfortunatly for him cancer took him before he could get a new liver. So no ganja but enough opiates to get the entire state of cali high for a month. Something is seriously wrong in the med community. RIP Chris D.

He was very lucky in that doctors found the cancer in his pancreas extremely early due to another issue he was having...it was localized in his panc. and had not spread to the surrounding tissue...he went on a raw vegan diet,(rather than get cut on) the same thing i would do; fruit has little to no place in fact will feed many cancers...anyway

9 months later they found it had spread to the surrounding tissue and at that point surgery is no longer an option and he is a walking dead man...the fact that he had so much money allowed him to live another five plus years whereas the average person would have died much sooner...

rick simpson oil has its place for sure but not here...

i have two friends that survived pancreatic. one is now dead of old age (89). wobenzymn N formulated in germany is a systematic enzyme designed specifically for treatment and cure of pancreatic.

that was before i knew of the cure. now, there are so many methods that are effective. but it is hard to second guess history. who knows what we each would do to save our lives until we are standing in those shoes.

i'm familiar with wobenzymn N and serrapeptase for scavaging dead tissue and both are highly effective but for Jobs cancer they would have done nothing to reverse it
