Good idea?

My fresh new clone are under 100w CFL 24/24 for 1 month.

It is a good idea to put them with my 1000w (when it open) to boost them a little? They will not be directly under the 1000w but having low light 12 hours and higher light another 12 hours can stress them ???

Thank you!

clones do not even need light when they are rooting, and too much will just dry out the medium faster...once they are rooted hps is fine but during cloning it's just not a good idea unless you want to add water every hour...not to mention why waste a thousand watts when the dim glow of a 13w cfl will do the same thing?

the plant is rooted now?

I think the plant go burn when see the 1000 w. maybe you can maintain the plant under 100w in veg, and when start flowering pass to 1000w.

i don't think i'm right but its just my opinion. maybe is better wait for expert advices...

Yeah they are rooted!!

My 1000w is ON for my flowering anyway.

I don't put the rooted clone directly under the 1000w.

lol well then you should be ok...i put my freshly rooted clones right under my light, though it's only 400w and i have had no problems, most people who do tight SOG grows start flowering when the clones are freshly rooted and ive never heard of anybody needing to break in clones by starting them far away or using cfl's\

I put them 12 hours under T5 100w and 12 hours under 1000w (in my flowering room)...for obvious reason I need to remove them from my flowering room because the light turn off after 12 hours...!! Its why they will be 12 hours under T5 and 12 hours under 1000w.

Who talked about 24 on 24 off?

You said 24/24 in the first post so I felt like making fun of you, even though I assumed you meant 24/0 or something.
