Undercurrent veg system is live!

Undercurrent veg system is live!

Hey All,
I finally set aside a couple of hours yesterday to set up my new undercurrent system. I think I ended up spending about $200.00 for the whole set up. I am still considering doing a top feed, but it may be unnecessary for veg. But I do plan on incorporating top feed when they get moved to flower.

I need to redo my airlines still. I bought a new air pump that has 4 fittings, but is designed for up to 12 sites, but my first idea of daisy chaining the air stones didn't work out. I also tried placing tees at each of the fittings, but the delivery of air is still uneven. There has to be an intended method to expand to 12 stones. At least it is a GH product, and I can get customer service I suppose...

I chopped down what should have been the last outdoor plant in my area... A friend was not happy with his Candy Kush plant, and was just going to kick it down the gully... It had some bud rot on the tips, and the buds never quite filled out, but it should make some nice BHO!
If anyone has any ideas for the air lines I would appreciate it.

Try making all your air lines the same length. Sometimes the stones are more restrictive than other stones so you could also switch them around.

That's exactly what the guys down at the local hydro store said... Thanks bro!

I redid my airlines, and so far so good!
Been busy gathering up trim from friends, and now it looks like I have 4lbs of popcorn, and 1.5 lbs of bud rot to process! I am gonna need cases and cases of butane... Wish there was a way I could get it in propane size containers!
My Ultimate Strawberry Diesel cuttings are starting to get the white bumps prior to roots, so I should see real roots in the next couple of days.
I started to trim off the retarded leaves from reverting to veg on the plants that are showing new serrated blades.
I need to start hanging insulation and sheet-rock in my new room asap. I could take 6-7 Goosh into that room now and finish vegging them there. Maybe by next weekend...

Why thank you BBdrumsz, I think Arminus can attest to the "potency" of my outdoor Allen Wrench... it really turned out great for my 1st time growing outdoor in over 20 years lol.

Arminus, if you need a hand when I get back, you know I would be happy to help in any way I can, but I have a feeling you need to finish that flower room toot suite!

Good luck brah, those DWC's look awesome!

Yes, that OD Allen Wrench is definitely 1-2 hitter quitter for sure...
I think I have it handled Mega, just need the tane!... Found 8 cases on Craigslist in Oakley for less than Ebay, Amazon.com... I suspect that 8 cases may be CA state limits or something. I will email the seller and see if he has more than 8 cases, gonna need lots of tane...
Which reminds me of a TPB episode... "Butane, butaaaane, butane, butaaane"...

Arminus, love your thread brother! Really excited to see how this vert grow comes along! Question for the vert growers out there; when you grow do you have lights above and hanging in the middle or is that overkill? And what kind of yield increase percentage wise are you looking at compared to a normal grow with overhead lighting??

Due to the nature of a vert bare bulb, you don't see people putting the bulb above since it would not receive all the lumens available. The basic principle is hang the light, then surround the light with plants...
You can read just 2-3 threads and get an idea of what the yields are. One of my favorites is Aeroheads thread, which is stickied, very informative and he killed it with 1k. If I remember correctly, he ended up with 2.5 pounds trimmed, from a multi-strain crop...

Thanks for reply. I harvest my 4 DWC tomorrow in the AM. I started a grow journal here and on GC for my follow on grow.
Considering the height issues you had last time, I would think vert it's the way to go, especially if you are doing another sativa...

Just got to say, this form and the people on it are way more helpful then anyplace I've been so far. And my Ebb & Gro 4000w grow I wanted to do isn't set in stone yet. Still trading ideas back and forth with the wife. We have ideas, most won't be viable till after we unload this second grow we just started.

"thank you sir, may I have another"...

I thought all the TPB fans would laugh at this, I drank tequila last night and went to bed, my wife said I woke her up in the middle of the night by shouting "Green eggs and Hammmmmm!!" in my sleep, I have no memory of what I was dreaming about, but I bet it was fucked lol

Ok I just have to ask.....what is TPB? Is this a show? Explain please?

The Trailer Park Boys was a Canadian show that ran 7 seasons including 2 full length movies. You can watch it on Netflix. It takes a couple episodes to get into it, but it's fucking hilarious!
