Maple Leaf Indica

This is Maple Leaf Indica from Sensi Seeds. The buds are dense and smell of incense, what kind I do not know. The taste is nice, can not place exactly what flavors are involved.

The buzz off this is the whole deal for me. It is happy, content, at ease, no problems on my mind basically. I can sit still and read stuff here at Icmag, watch a movie, or anything else that is passive like that. That is rare for me with any weed. I was looking for a good late night smoke and found it big time.

This is not sleep weed and I can do stuff just fine. An hour after smoking I can sleep if I want to though. No big rush after smoking and not an ass kicking high at any time with this. The high is not disruptive and I can do almost anything on this. No comedown funk from this, no groggy feeling after coming down or morning after. I will rate potency at 8 of 10, 1.5 hour high duration roughly. I had heard this was weak weed from some here, but I think it is fine in potency. It just does not get me wasted from a couple hits, but very well buzzed. There are stronger strains without a doubt.

I saw they were out of stock of MLI over at the Boo. D.S. Toker. MD has made quite a few converts to this I guess. Many thanks to you.

I took most to 75 days and 1 to 90 days. I think I may have had a light leak issue and this resulted in the long time to mature. Also was battling thrips. I waited till there were about 25% amber trichomes.

Thanks Yesum, tried to do an outdoor MLI grow a while back and it didn't work out. A great old poster Silverback(RIP) used to really talk about MLI and what a great effect it has. I'll take a look at your grow log.

Ive been eyeing the MLI for some time now, Im just so skeptikal at whether the parental stock that sensi is using these days is anywhere close to the almost pure landrace mazar-i-sharif in the older releases where I have seen fantastic results of basolutely perfect mazar type Hashplants with the afghani funk that stick in your nose and just puts you body and mind at total ease.

It sounds like the line is still producting good phenos, I think I good sized run of f1 and maybe even f2;'s would yield some positive exapmles of breeding potential and extreme potency/resin production.

use smoke reports as a guide but you might get a totaly different result from the same herb. a different pheno might be perfect for you!
i never rule out any strain because of a smoke report because i have been pleasantly surprised and enjoyed strains people didn't like at all!

rip silverback i had picked up a few pks of these on his word alone been waitn to really rock them i popped a few and found basically what u found 75+days and i had no light leaks ... i know theres faster more potent phenos out there and allso great studs in the old beans... maybe next yr ill get to pop the rest and do a search...

Yeah, I remember Silverback telling me something like 50-55 outdoor. It's probably about the same indoor on some phenos. Hope to hear some smoke reports.

I should make clear, I have insomnia and it is good for that. I just have to start smoking several hours before bedtime. After a good long session (3-4 hours)I can usually sleep. I meant that this is not put you to bed smoke right after toking. It matches your energy level rather than changing it. Right after a few good tokes there is a bit of energy created, but that is true with any weed I ever had.

I broke out some Afghan Kush from WOS I had for a year and thought I want a good strong indica smoke and I remembered this was fairly strong. Have built some tolerance to the MLI smoking it all the time. Well, I took a good hit and for a few minutes there was a little nervous energy thing, then not too much, then a fairly dull flatline relaxed feeling and none of the euphoria I often experience with the MLI. So my stash of Afghan Kush took a dump in value and the MLI went up again. The MLI was stronger and a lot more fun.

^^ Yea, my WOS grows were disappointing. Update on the MLI, I got around to the final pheno which was the best looking of them all. Not stretchy like most of them, compact xmas tree indica shape with real nice buds.

This pheno is pretty strong. I can compare it to the dispensary Pure Kush I used to smoke. I took 3 small hits and was fucked up real good. So for pheno hunters, there are strong ones to be found. Most were medium strength. This last one is about 50% stronger than the rest.

Bud pictures alone can be 100% proof that Sensi hasn't changed this strain. The buds, and to some degree the leaves, are distinctive. Just like the picture and Sensi's picture. I did not get different phenotypes, they were all the same. Tall plants if vegged for a while, not if not. I like mixing this with NL5xHaze.

I had a storm that knocked the lights out for a couple days and other light issues and had the same problem. Still good smoke, as his looks like too, but nanners on several plants. Things will only get better from here! [edit: I was not growing this strain, but just saying that your implying that this had genetically related hermie issues based on the OP's picture, when he said he had light issues, was not necessarily correct. I would like to here if people who did not have light issues had hermies with this strain or not. I am still not sure whether my issues really were that much light related or not, or more strain instability related, as I had some, in fact, most, plants that did not nanny out on me].

Well I have to say that I agree 500% with Yesum first poster, It's the most chill weed I've ever smoked in my entire life (10 years 300 miles from the Netherlands)
It's strong but It's the purest indica feeling I've ever felt, so frank, so immediate,
In terms of effects, this strain is, in the top 3, the 1rst in the world.
You want a cash-crop ultra addictive weed, go with this strain. It's properly amazing
