Most diverse possible strain collection?

In my current high state this seems like a complicated question and I'm too high to find the right words to ask it in one sentence (which I think is entirely possible if I were a little less high, not that that's important right now), anyway, here's a story to ask it instead:

Imagine a future where things are looking bad here on earth and the world gets together and builds a way of getting human beings to another planet to start over.

All the gear to start the colony is going with the colonists and space is *extremely* limited.

You are the colonist in charge of the medicinal / "medicinal" cannabis collection due to your many years of personal experience with the subject (some other dude is doing hemp) and you're allowed only a few grams for all the total seeds.

You want to bring the absolute most diverse range of cannabis as possible; no two strains alike.

What strain's seeds would you choose to take with you?

If you bring all of the land races along for the ride, and given enough time, you could recreate all of the varieties out there today. I'd include:

highland Thai
Mexican Oxaca
Afghani
Colombian Red
Nepalese Hash Plant
Hindu Kush

and... add for ease of use:

A few beans of the following seem enough to create variety comparable to the variety of popular choices today:
A trippy sativa - Thai
A smooth positive sativa - Oaxacan
A heavy indica - Afghan
A smooth indica - Northern Lights

i'd go over to my fridge take out all the jars and i'd be done,,,

thanks to all the hard work done by caring ganja enthusiasts i have genetics of all types from all continents,, its such a fun hobby its amazing how relatively few on this earth enjoy it :rasta:

big thanks to ace seeds and cannabiogen for getting so much genetic diversity out to the masses,,, they deserve most of the credit in recent years imo..

Thanks Yoss, exactly the kind of info I was after, you rock! I hope more people weigh in on this, I want to test them all out for myself!

Nice list :tiphat: . I would add to that Pakistan Chitral Kush(PCK) and one of my personal crosses Purkle(Purple Urkle X The Purps). Look for the Urkle dominant pheno with the added fruityness

*You'd* be done but I'd still be left in the dark. :)

What seeds *exactly* do you have in your fridge that are so diverse?

i made a 8 page booklet to write all the crosses and lines that i have down in,, spent around $20k probably mostly over 2/3 years on beans,,, you name it man four or five different thai lines,lu hanh, mexicans, oaxicans, brazilians, columbians, panamans, loads of different african lines like swazi, durban, ciskei, angolan, loads of malawi variants, zamal, nepalise indi's and sats and other himalayans,, uzbeki and a wealth of affies and paki lines including pck and others,, chinese, vietnamese black,,, guatamalan,,, maroccan, jamaican blue mountain,, congolise,

these are just some(probably most) of the landrace genetics i can remember now that i decided to buy,, not quite all are pure but that doesnt matter since you can always select back towards whatever you desired in the filial gens,,, thats if you did for some reason need to try and recreate in someway a version of a specific genepool,,

i think ganja has had a good life walking hand in hand with man as he has trekked around this rock for at least the last 100,000 years,,, if we had say a nuclear war or something forcing us underground or into space then preserving certain types of ganja will be the last thing on peoples minds..

lol no it wouldnt trust me,,, you would be thinking about your teeth and hair falling out and all the sores, whilst nuclear rain fell outside from the perpetually dark ruined sky,, ganja would give you no relief from the pain, maybe try growing poppies under those circumstances,, nothing brightens up a mutated freaks day like some golden brown,,
