I grew some F2 of Onyx that I made OD this year. They went out when my real plants went out. They managed to produce some bud before the mold got to them. I probably harvested in the middle of July. The buds were extremely hard to trim, and reminded me of flowering plants that try to reveg, in that they were long loose buds. I have been growing out the same seeds indoors ever since then, trying to find a really excellent pheno. The indoor buds are much denser and resemble real cannabis. I still think the smoke and taste of Autos is off, but Im just doing it for fun and waiting to find that perfect mother plant. It was worth it to grow the autos outside, even if the bud was hard to trim, I found the quality of the Auto smoke was much better on the outdoor plants. A hard pine and lemon scent that filled a room when I opened the bag was a nice treat in the middle of summer.

#1 tip for growing autos outdoors- start them indoors! I found that plants I grew from seed planted outdoors did not perform very well outdoors, while seedlings brought outside did actually produce. Maybe it was just me and my seeds, or perhaps by the later summer the conditions had deteriorated.

Had some Purple Mazar outside in Denmark this year, unfortunately, the ones i grew got some mold problems, but it was also an extraordinary wet end of the summer, and i had pollinated them, so i think the seed production might have helped with the accumulation of water inside the buds. Moreover i didn't pay as much attention to them as i could have, some trimming of the leaf structure and removing of a few dead leafs might have saved them from molding even though the rains was pouring. Luckily there was only mold in some of the main cola, and i was able to save and enjoy the rest.
It was some firm buds, moreso than the lowryders i grew the year before, which was quite airy, and the firmness and the potency of the Purple Mazar was at hight with the most of the regular strains i have grown outside.
It was not a heavy yielder, but the smoke was quite nice, happy and comfortable high.

Did two outdoor grows this summer. Mach 3, and Russian Rocket Fuel. Both in hydro, both on my back deck. Didn't take much in the way of pictures...but I'll show ya what I can find...
This is a seeded Mach 3, F2. Females get to be the same size, tight nugs about the size of the neck on the bottle when dried.

Also did the Rocket Fuel. First time they came out looking like this... ...buds where airy, smoke was knock you on your ass stuff though, couldn't tell it apart from some WW I was burning the same time. Next run of the same I pruned hoping for a SOG type plant. It didn't care for that too much and yield was mininal. Also grown in Ontario :) Going to try the Rocket Fuel again this winter and see if they can handle heavy defol. If they can I've found the perfect plants for my deck next spring.
