I got up bright and early today cuz I think it might be update day.

I was gonna do it yesterday but I was very busy.
Today is day two of daily watering. Up til now, I've been watering every other day but at yesterday's watering, the plants were ever-so-slightly droopy so now we're going to watering once a day and we'll keep an eye on things.
Out of curiosity, I allowed a handful of plants on both tiers to keep the secondary branching they threw off. My experience under CFL suggests that most of this will probably be popcorn but under the new cabs conditions, I don't want to be wondering later, so I figured I'd go ahead and see what happens on this first grow so that whatever I do in the future will have a factual basis.
* I couldn't fit the disco ball in except for these!

Shit's looking fire, interesting to see those bottom tier plants have stretched quite a bit compared to top, and kinda look like they will produce a little more?
Is that light burn on those leaves? (pics 9 & 10)
I think it's walls of weed time in 2 weeks, yield looks like it will be pretty good based on the budsites.

wow man it looks like alot of those are gonna be full budsicles...
Really great stuff anti...still got that pic as my desktop and me and my gf have smoked and stared at it quite a bit..it's really a work of art man..I'm envious.
I kinda finished up my dual 150 cab that I've been working on...gonna be based on the same style grow as yours. Still need the mt-38's. Thanks fer the inspiration
* actually now that I think of it, my new cab was originally based alot on your 3000cab and I remodeled it when I saw your dual 400 idea...lol it's kind of a hybrid of your new and old grow hehe.

All of the plants that ended up on the bottom tier were already taller than the others back when I had them all on the top tier for the first week. So I don't know how much of that is stretching for the light and how much is just their own natural vigor, but they do look like they could end up yielding more than the top tier at this point.
And yes, those are leaves that had oriented straight onto a light. The plants get moved to a new spot with every feeding and I'm trying to keep leaves from growing into the bulb but I haven't yet made a trip to the hardware store for some chicken wire to stop it once and for all. I'll try to do that this weekend.

Bro you've put everything into this grow even before you started the build you've been hard at work figuring it all out. The design is kickass and I think your gonna do very well with it. Not long now, how long does your strain flower out for?

Thank you for your kind words. I typically let this strain go for 65-67 days. I am planning to pull one or two plants a little early (day 60 or 61) just to see how I like it. If I go above 67 days this stuff will put you to sleep in the middle of smoking it. (I've woken up many times still sitting up with the bowl in one hand and lighter in the the other hand.)
I have no reasonable expectations having never run a room this size or with these bulbs before.
In my microcab (17 inch x 17 inch x 23 inch) under ~250w of mixed CFL I was getting about half an ounce per plant.
I don't know what to expect from these plants, but I will point out that even the top tier plants are bigger than my microcab plants would be. Most of the plants on the top tier (and all of the plants on the bottom tier) are already taller than they could possibly get in my microcab. Those green bamboo stakes are 24 inches tall. My microcab was only 23 inches tall, so the stakes themselves would not have fit in that cabinet. All of the lower plants are a few inches taller than that. That would seem a good sign to me.

After watering two days in a row I opened the doors yesterday to give them a third day's watering and they were showing classic signs of overferting. I did NOT water yesterday and I resumed watering today with those signs greatly diminished. Until further notice, I am back to submersion watering EVERY OTHER DAY.
