Yes it is. Plenty of amber trics so go for it.
To be honest i prefer my cheese less mature but that is just a matter of personal taste ;)
All the best

You can harvest anytime after the trich's are mostly milky. I think waiting to see all this amber is grower's lore. I have harvested bud that was only milky and clear trichs and the high was just as intense. I concur with nappybutbald, dragongrower, and paulo that you could harvest her right now. Or you can just take half now and let the other half mature longer and see if you notice any difference.

The picture of the bud you posted doesn't look remotely close to being finished.

Agreed .... are the same plant???

They sure don't look it as regards ripeness

If so where on the plant did you take the pic of?

A photo with the area marked would be helpful

that bud isn't ready by a long shot. you have to be careful with trichs, the ones on the leaves often amber much faster than the ones on the calyxes. honestly i just use trichs as a sign that ripening is on the way, and from my experience revegging, the ripeness window is MUCH bigger than most people would have you believe, check out this article, it's very good, and has been serving me well since i first started using it.

Yeah senorsloth has it right here, i just checked the trichs from LEAVES of one gal that shows she is ready to pick, but upon looking, I know she can go another week or so...and most would htink its time to pick...

my chemdog ibl's leafs look just like the above pic, they are at 8.5 weeks and the buds themselves are still milky and not fully swelled yet, not a single amber on the calyxes but about 25% on the leaves,i know these pheno's still need 2 more weeks minimum before the buds will be 25% amber or more...

first, REALLLLY a novice. but i grew a few potted outdoor this summer, actually four unknown-to-me, but totally different strains. two i've harvested, nicely too~thanks very much. one i've moved into closet w small cf lighting, not holding my breath on that one, but now my question...

the final plant is still growing, but i think it may be ready. should it be damp rooted or dry when i cut it? or does it matter? any "last day" tips? thanks if so

:tiphat:Harvesting is questionable on many levels. 1.Are you out of smoke? 2. Should i give another week. 3 Did i flush long enough? etc etc. Basically when ever your ready :dance013:!! I question mine every time ha ha ha. To kill 2 birds with 1 stone ^^^^let the plant dry out then cut. That is a little less Moisture and might shorten the total dry time. I wish i could grow 1 plant outdoors just so i could KNOW you know. I envy outdoor growers. Nice Cola too. firehound:jawdrop:
