What's up guys? I am looking for a cheap product to clean my bong. Normally I don't worry about cleaning bongs because how they always get broken, dropped or thrown at unwanted guests. However I have managed to keep my current bong for over a year now and I am longing for that new bong taste. What do you guys recommend?

91% isopropyl alcohol and some kosher or sea salt. helps to run hot tap water thru 1st to loosen up that gunk.

Like Tacoma said, I usually use Epsom Salt and Alcohol. Someone told me recently to try Oxyclean and hot water, that it cleans it right out
I have to advise against the use of Oxyclean... It's just not a very good tar-cleaner, and its like 10 times more slippery than normal soap, seriously dangerous.

simple green and a wine bottle cork trimmed to fit the bongs downstem opening,fill it up and let it sit a couple days,no scrubbing,gets even the smallest parts and can be reused,only requires hot water to rinse...
I know it sounds weird but if you microwave a shotglass of alcohol for 10 seconds or so, just before it is boiling, cause iso doesnt take long, then run it through your pipe already warmed by water, then you will have a method for cleaning the hardest to reach areas.
cheapest and most effective= iso and kosher salt.
a few cents worth of each gets the job done.

its a miracle worker, i soak my Ti rigs in the stuff and the bho residue just slides right off.

I usually clean my daily driver every other day. Hot water rinse, 91% ISO rinse, then a cold water rinse and fill. Easy...

I like to use any professional glass cleaner because I think it does the job at least faster than iso and salt. That being said I am about to put em into a long soak in hot water and alcohol today for a cleaning session. Out of glass cleaner, really dont like buying the stuff.
All you guys saying you're using 91% isopropyl alcohol....you sure that's what you're using? I'm almost certain that isn't the stuff you can buy in the supermarket, the iso that I get is only 70% and it works killer, obviously mixed with salt. I think the 91% stuff is for labs and such.

tbh I find 70% not strong enough to do the job effectively.
head shops repackage zep industrial purple cleaner and sell it at a crazy markup for cleaning glass pipes it is available at your local homedepot
