Weve been running it indoors. I cant remember how long they took to finish. I think I had them indoors budding for 10 weeks then brought them outside to finish up in early winter. For some reason the Nevilles Haze is ahead of the Mango this time in ripeness. We will probably pick at mostly milky and a few clear, for a real zinger of a high. We just pollenated them about a week or so ago with Blue Crush (Orange Crush/Salmon Creek clone/Blue Money) and Mangola, (LA Conf/Mango Haze). Proven tip top shelf Males.

I never posted this picture but thought I would share it with this thread. It's a Blue Dream, pic taken a while ago. This is the only BD I labeled individually in the dry area to determine yield.

So the opinion I have of the twister is that I love it. It trims the B buds so well , but it definitely is a SIGNIFICANT difference in the hand cleaned and machine cleaned flowers...Like a "God damn I can't believe I did that to my shit" type of difference...But it is on the "B" buds which keeps the trimmers around longer and doesn't really warrant the standard pay rate to be hand cleaned any way so what ever. You will also get much more stuff you would not get hand cleaning B buds because the twister does not give a shit about the size of what you throw in to it ...all of it will be trimmed. I love it for what it is but would never put my AAA through it..Ever.

Will save the rest of this space for off the grid drying.

nice review. your honest opinion is appreciated and helpful to icmag! i agree it would work good for b's and c's that most trimmers probably just toss aside.

Did you find the noise a bit much? also how often do you clean it during the day?

another freind of mine hooks up a pressure washer to a hot water heater then just blasts it a few times a day.

ive heard some growers use wd40 all over it...mmm who would want to smoke that? hahah

happy harvest to all, hope everyone is almost all in.

oh yeah can i get a big "fuck you" to mold. bad year for that

The noise is very annoying but it's a small price to pay. Ear plugs are your best friend around the twister. I would run it in 9 hour shifts and then clean it between the shifts and after use. I use a 3800 PSI DeWalt cat pump pressure washer, hot water isn't needed. Maybe it was just a bad year for mold from what you saw out of all the gardens we put in this year we lost maybe 4oz of mold total over the whole trip.

I only lost about an ounce so far out of 20 pounds or so processed. I Had quite a bit of rain and was expecting quite a bit more from the thicker indicas i was testing.

Since i am not growing more than a few plants, i went with the crank trimmer. have you you used the hand spin trimmers at all, and if so, what would be your comparison? of course, noise, amount of turnout, and cleaning aside. i have not put any of the A grade or more in the spin trimmer for fear of reading the "Decrystalizer 2000" quote earlier in the thread about the twister, but would like to know what peoples' comparisons or thoughts are in general.

i have to agree with this as well. i lost some nice tops, but not so much to call it a total loss. i am going to build a dome of some sort next year to be able to cover the plants just in case we have a repeat of this years wild weather patterns in my area.

Hello everyone

We finished what has unfolded as the smoothest harvest ever yesterday afternoon. While the ladies didn't pull in quite the totals we were looking for, we are very happy with the abundance flowing around us. Today and tomorrow, we'll be bringing in manure for top dress, tilling in the bark and putting in the cover crop for the winter. Feeling Blessed.

Happy harvesting everyone and see you next year! Off to do some relaxing!
