BHO noob with questions

my friend made a bunch and gave me some.

how can you be sure you BHO was properly purged?

if it wasn't properly purged what can you do?

if your were trying to heat treat the BHO and it was not properly purged, is there danger? some people say not to use it in edibles, others say to heat treat it first.

You can try reheating it, see if you can burn off more impurities in the oil. Other then that there isn't much you can with it. If they used bad butane there is real no way to tell. Some butane will leave bad impurities in the oil. The only way to know for sure is to make it yourself.

if the oil cathes fire it has tane in it. If it snap krakle pops it has H2O in it.. If it smelss like rotten eggs toss it in the garbage the wrong tane was used... hope that helps ...
