Move the bulb back to about 4 - 6 inches and slow down on watering slightly.

The picture is fuzzy but it looks like it's already burnt and you might be better off to scrap it and germinate another.

Never had much luck with germinating in rockwool, I have given up on it, and switched to perlite and vermiculite. I find the seeds have a hard time getting out of the stuff and are stunted once they do, if they do at all.

I did not germ it straight in r.w , well i did not do direct seeding

I germed it with the wet paper towel method , always work for me

But after the seed rooted is when i put it in the rockwool

Ya know I think was incorrect about the over watering part. The base of the stem looks healthy and isn't damping off like I thought it looked in the first picture.

But you do need to raise the light. And I suspect that you have a fan on it? I'd turn it off for a few days, or better yet if you can turn it down and point it away from the plant.

But the tip is getting way to hot and dry. Correct that and I think you're off and growing.

next time, you might wanna try adding nutes before popping in your germ'd seed too, soak rw @ low EC & PH 5.5, i always add nutes to start, theres none in the rw.(you'll want a mild NPK fert for this-Formulex or Ionic's a good choice too)- i find a mild npk fert gets em off to a good start.

i'd raise the light an inch or 2 higher myself like Stress suggests too.

Are you using a heat mat or heated propagator? i do myself untill their rooted.
