Quick Slightly Pointless Question for some elders here

So guys, i used to be really into the online game back in the day.....I coincidentally made my account here with a name I used back then. My question is that I opened my account so long ago that my post count is so low and etc, especially the per day ratio that people have made jokes about in the past and I am sure they will again in the future. Now I could care fucking less but something can be said for building an active reputation and so forth. So I was wondering if you guys think I should just start a new account, and start fresh. I am somewhat leaning towards this as I plan to be pretty active in the future

Nobody's going to make fun of you, seriously, I would just stick with the first account....

Technically (check the Terms of Use) ICmag frowns upon multiple accounts for several reasons, but in extreme circumstances such as password problems some members have had to leave their old name and start a new name....

Why not just stick with the old name? Sounds like the easiest thing to do....

The first post I made here was something technical and complex about terpenes and terpenoid molecules....it wasn't very clear what I was trying to say so some people
criticized the post.....then I just kept posting and helping people and eventually I established
myself as a helpful person....

And also, there are often large limitations on communication here.....especially when it
comes to sarcasm and irony.....

If someone posts something that is unbelievably offensive or antagonistic, you can report the post (check out the Terms of Use).....

I guess I'm trying to say, don't worry about a few posts or a few criticisms....sometimes
people say stuff like "I ate a guinea pig when I was in Peru" to me, but I just ignore them.

I guess it was the word "pal" that bothered me a tiny bit but i realize now that it was just him saying bye as pal---short for paladin

I do have thick skin but i take no shit........if ya can understand that....lol

I guess ill keep pyth nym.......i used to teach people quite alot about fungi, chemistry, and so forth......

What others think of you is none of your business The best way imho to get what you are looking for here is with a good set of pics.

Talk is cheap and like anything else these damn kids any more gotta have proof but like I said if your into that kind of thing pics are always the best way to shut them up.

ya, I most likely over reacted...... you have to understand that I used to "forum" daily, then decided to stop for years........so i am unfamiliar w/ some terms --- so I looked it up and that's what it defined it as; so, the word coupled w/ the "pal" ending made it seem like he was putting me down..........I realize i was wrong and would like to move on positively......thanks for the kind welcome......

Oh ya'll are so nice..But don't worry that is not the first time my self-deprecating humor has gone over someones head( is the first time 'pal' pissed someone off to my knowledge).
