3rd week of flower using KISS in Fox Farms Soil
Feeding every 3rd watering. Soil PH is 6.4-6.5 and I PH water to 6.4
Having some yellowing especially on one plant. I have been fighting some fungus gnats but sticky traps have caught 99% of the flyers. have been told yellowing is probably from larvae eating the roots but others have said no.
Need opinions, Nitrogen def? Fungus Gnat damage? Seems a little early to be yellowing up like this though.

I'm no expert, but it looks like those flowers are getting hungry and that's why the leaves are getting yellow. Maybe feed every other watering, or up the dosage?
I'm dealing with fungus gnats now. They're fucking annoying. Usually Gognats gets rid of them, but it hasn't really worked. I just picked up mosquito dunks from Lowes. That bti in it is supposed to really fuck them up!

I used 1 part hydrogen peroxide, 4 parts water.. I'll let you know in a few days if it worked. It's supposed to kill the larvae on contact and not harm your plants. I let it set for 15 minutes then flushed and fed. WHen I left the leaves were all shooting up to the light, very happy plants... I haven't seen them since. My daughter had surgery today and we've been out of town since yesterday, hopefully they are still happy down there lol.

I've got a quick question that I'm sure you all will be able to field. I'm top feeding my hempy buckets and would like to have a 50gal tank with maxibloom mixed in at the appropriate amount and ph adjusted. Is this attainable and would this make sense or is it better to continue making it one to five gallons at a time? Thanks!

At times I've mixed 40 gallon rez's so 50 gallons is no problem.
@warped1-no need in that my friend...i just love growing and when able to increase we increase. We're in a unique spot right now.
evl-was that while doing ebb & flow or something along those lines? I'm not wanting to add to the initial mix....just kind of make the tank, maybe through some airstones in the tank and just keep it bubbling for a week while using it as needed. I've got a 40g reservoir that I've got experience with topping it off and keeping it right....but I don't want to do that at all. I'd like to simplify my KISS even more so. Thanks!

yeah you can mix that much if you use it pretty quickly , if you add airstones (pretty good idea ) just check your ph before using it every time . i have seen the PH go up a half point or so every couple days especially with airstones in the rez ( dunno why but airstones do make the PH swing more . ) good luck Dub
i'm curious, why the big red print at the top of the first page? didn't your bags all come with the same scoop? lol and for that matter, does half a gram really matter? i have been experimenting, i grew my first round at 1/4 to half strength and now am using full strength, they don't seem to mind. it seems to me that if your scoop is slightly less than they want you just use a little more right? i mean what if they want 6 grams? what if they want 9 grams? it's not like you can plug in a diagnostic device and find out...for the most part i don't think you would know the difference but isn't the point of the product that the ratio is perfect, not the amount? i mean the amount can very quite a bit from strain to strain and you can only find that out by experementing.
it just seems to me that by putting that warning up in huge ass red letters could dissuade potential noobs who could really benefit from this method but don't want to buy any nutrient that seems to be so sensitive you need to buy a drug scale just to properly dose, which is simply not true. maxibloom is very forgiving, maybe more than most, and i don't think it aught to be stressed at all the exact weight of a scoop down to the gram, just mentioned as a matter of fact. i think at the very least it aught to be regular sized print, maybe even just bold instead of red also. i own a digital scale, but i keep the damn thing at work because i don't want the cops to have any cause to claim im selling what i grow, i also make it a point to not keep baggies in my kitchen, as they have often used that trick in the past to claim personal growers were dealers, maybe i'm paranoid but i think it's a good idea if you grow to never have a scale, baggies, and def no guns in the same house, because regardless of your intentions, the cops will use them against you when bringing the charges to fruition...
