What's new

Toxic tent, my experience

It's a brand new sun hut, silver interior. My guess is they just put silver on their old canvases, or perhaps these are refurbished? Unclear.

What is clear is that I have something going on that I have never seen before, these plants have not been fed, as is my custom when using FFHF soil. The soil has everything the plants need at this early stage. As I said, they were transplanted into this tent healthy and green only 4-5 days ago. Look closely at other people's pictures here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=4730165#post4730165 and you will see imedatly that I have the beginning stages of this out gassing.

It's the tent, I know it, I'm just saying it out loud so everyone can see ... It'S STILL HAPPENING....

. toxic tents suck. lost one whole run due to them. i almost quit growing. i checked and rechecked everything and spent a few sleepless nights. i was questioning my ability..this was a while ago. even the replacement material they sent me was toxic. but i had learned and used a few test plants. they croaked. i got so mad i tore up the material except for the floor liner. its now a grill cover and reminds me daily of what happened. i can say its definately one expensive grill cover. DAVESNOTHERE ha ha i already posted . sorry its a touchy subject for me . i was so mad at one point i was ready to loose it.

I like your style, just water... it's the best.... I do the same.
So you began having problems when the plants went into the tent.
Is it happening to all your plants in the tent?
Have you tried to pull one or two out and see if they get better (just as control).
Sometimes I happened that some nute sensible varieties are a bit shocked by transplant and shows some micro/macro deficiencies when changing soil around roots. It usually set well after few days.
I'm telling this because I notice that the yellowing begins from leaves tips, not form the interior parts as usually offgassing begins.
The plant is poisoned so cannot build new structure and leaves, showing yellow new shots. When the yellow begins from the tips means that she's stealing compounds from the warehouse (older leaves) to build new shoots, because some nutes cannot reach the top (blame it on roots, ph, transport problems...)
Just my 2 cents. Anyway can be a new type of compund that acts in a different way.
Keep us updated

I know what you mean, bro.
Almost quit growing.... like my friend....
Really disappointing and frustrating thing and sleepless nights.
Fuck those tents, and let's shout it loud! People need to be informed properly.
Prebuilt tents are temptating to save time and work, but DIY growroom are better...
Best luck and karma

I have had no problems whatsoever with the Secret Jardin, which is cheaper around here than the others.
