His ambition is gonna make him a good grower....but holy shit man it takes a bit of time to do a grow like that and its pretty much impossible to do it with 300 plants from seed....

You can grow ... probably 10 plants vert under 3k pretty easily. And achieve a fantastic yield... all the man is doing is creating an absurd amount of work for himself.

I'd kudos his effort, but BOG himself said it best.. Grow big trees, your yield will be great.

i also am a new grower and feel your pain.
good advice from the others. however, you're working entirely too hard with the hand watering. go to the indoor hydro forum and click on the passive plant killer thread. the pertinant links are archived in the first posting. the equipment isn't hard to build and makes watering automatic. he'll also show you jack's professional hydro nutrient system. this stuff was designed for weed.

This grow is a clusterfuck. My tap water is 400 ppm before I add any nutes. I'm using the KISS nutes and the bud enhancer. I'm also adding silicon as was suggested. Due to my possibly irrational fear of hermis ruining the crop I removed all fans from the grow rooms so air circulation is just the exhaust and passive intake. I've learned a ton and am still learning every day. Not too bad considering, heh.

Make sure you get those fans going once you go past week 5 of flower cos bud rot hits suddenly and spreads quick if you ain't got good circulation, it can ruin your crop. Looking good pal.

yeah, if you have herms cull them, simple as that. If you don't have air moving around those buds, mold will grow.

Are you really hanging the lamps by their cords? are you f-ing shitting me? That's a huge fire hazard. All you have to do is bump that tent wrong, and they're coming down. Burnt plants is the best case scenario. Chain is cheap. Secure those lamps.

Get out the scissors and do some trimming. you don't need those fan leaves anymore.... Remove them. Especially the yellow and brown crispy ones that are already decaying and will crawl up into your buds and cause bud-rot.

400ppm? Really? You don't have $100 for an RO filter? I try to keep my feed at 800ppm. That doesn't leave much room for additives if your tap is 400ppm.

Anyway, good job so far on your first grow!

I'm 100% with Bobble on this one, this is a serious problem in a sheetrocked room, much less a friggin tent. The fire department puts out your grow and your going to jail, guaranteed.

Other than that, nice job. The scale alone is impressive.

If a raid happens I should hope its a federal case. The state law would give me ten years plus 2 years mms on a gun spec before any plea bargain. That's actually why I'm trying to not ever drop below 100 plants for as long as I'm growing. I don't want any case but if I get one I want a federal case.

Security is now and always will be my #1 priority.
