So a lot of threds bitching about the Government closing down dispensaries!
But what are we going to do! I'm writing letters, emails & signing up to petition the government! Even though it means putting my info in the hands of the evil F**KS in Washington!!!!!!!
Are you going to do anything!!!!!!!!

I kind of saw this coming, cali peeps had a good thing going but the nature of the beast is to push it to the limit. And now I believe the rest of the country will be fucked backwards 2 decades and now states that might have gotten a chance to try it will totally drop the idea. There has to be a happy medium.

this is what the feds were doing about 10 years ago, prosecuting MMJ sales, but they didn't close them all down
and now how many dispensaries are there, not in Cali so not sure, but from the chatter 10x doesn't sound too far fetched
in this economy, for every dispensary/operator you close, i'd say 5 come to the funeral to take their place
just my 2 cents, not sure how this will play out

had an interesting convo with someone who works with a local dispensary here in SF. they dont give a flying fuck about the latest fed letters, "all smoke" they said. they just set up a 30 lighter and are setting up another 10 lighter this week...and expanding their mother and clone production....saw a half dozen "cookies" mothers chillin, real tempted to cut off a branch lol...

il see what their tone is when the deadline expires in a month or so....but honestly life is moving on as usual here in cali. the black market is still alive and kicking and will be ready to go if dispensaries do get shut down....back to the way things were 10 years ago when you had to call a delivery boy or drop by your friends "club" aka living room....

i just put a high profile attorney on retainer and he says everything is good....he hasnt seen a federal marijuana case less than 1000 plants in 10 years....they are mostly interested in out of state smuggling and massive illegal grows done by organized crime (triads, cartels, etc)....

I was just discussing this with an attorney the other day. Here in WA more and more private co-ops are forming. Last summer the feds shut down all of the store front dispensaries and all of them that advertised in the papers, but none of them were shut down if they were side street buildings without signs or advertising.

For all practical purposes, medical marijuana in WA is pretty much like the x-rated sex shops and strip clubs. They stay away from schools, daycares, and playgrounds, don't advertise, hold a low profile and don't have fights and shit that brings in LEO and they keep their doors open.

Hang a shingle or attract attention, and they'll kick your shit in.

Personally I wouldn't advertise if I could, I really don't want the junkies ripping me off either.

I live in a red state I don't live near any of the dispensaries there are nor how they operate so I can't say what its like!
But it rubs me the wrong way & I know it's past time to get cannabis rescheduled to schedule three or at least two & at least research it more! I really don't know what more research they need to do though, cannabis has a patent in 2003, Israel made medical marijuana legal in 1999 & are even talking about increasing production, so why is our own country dragging it's feet & lying to everybody!
I'm not trying to piss anybody off but I've had it with our country with all the evidence of how much better cannabis is than all the drugs they find out later that kills & hospitalizes people & they take off the market!
F**K it I'm not afraid of our government anymore, I don't want to but they can take my PLANT"S out of my cold dead hands, if it gets to that! I think it's only at the federal level were going to get this changed!

i know in Sacramento, theres something like 50-60 dispensaries. not sure about that stat. from what i've heard the ones running illegally are the guys killing it for everyone else.

funny just this week I've been offered I'd say at least 10-25% higher pricing for my fire (Shrug)

As far as what I'm going to do, absolutely nothing....just continue to grow my fire and be a capitalist.

You could try not voting for the same asshats that say they are going to resolve the MMJ issue and then do this.

If our country would get it's head out it's ass ,take Israel's lead legalize if for nothing else than medical like they did in 1999, we would be at least part way! No matter how you feel about Israel they at least agree with the medical science of cannabis, how come our country won't stop lying!!!!!!!!!

It sounds to me like this is an experiment by the Obama administration to see how things have been going with/without complete federal enforcement. I think they wanted to see what developments would occur with non-interference. Now; it seems they're in fuck it mode,..."Let's shut the whole mutha fucka down!, that's their punchline now.

i'd say that sums it up well
funny thing about 19 being voted down, who could tell?
the illegal dispensaries seemed to explode, from what us non Cali residents can see
