Question about hermies

Sorry if this question has been asked a hundred times but I've got two strains on the go right now and one of them has hermied due to stress. Do I need to cull them immediately? I'm only 4 weeks into flower so I'm guessing the pollen sacs could potentially ruin the whole crop, right? I've never dealt with this before so any advice would be helpful.

just pull them off as soon as you see them

you can get some dutchmasters reverse to keep them away

seedplants will hermi more readily than clones for some reason

I guess I'll cut off the branches that are affected and go from there, maybe ditch them all. These are from bagseed so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

You gotta be careful if you remove those sacs, cause sometimes they have pollen in them before you remove them and they can pollinate your plant..... branch would be better if you got a lot of them, otherwise use a plastic ziploc or sandwich bag and puti t in the area and pop or remove them... helps minimize "floating pollen"... it also depends on how mature the sacs are..... I would have culled her..... but that is up to you, if you want to keep it... minimize the risk... there is always a chance you will miss some and all it takes is one mature sac!

Yeah you guys are right after closer inspection I found many more sacs hiding on the lower less mature growth. This is where they were hiding all along. So I cut them down and kept the other strain.

Unfortunately I also spotted a couple seeds in these as well. The bud is still lookin great but with the odd seed in it, oh well. I wonder if these seeds will be as prone to herming. The hermied plant was from bagseed so it already carried the trait, but the one that got knocked up is from non-feminized seed from a reputable breeder so maybe the seeds will be viable. I guess there's only one way to find out. OG Kush x God Bud sure sounds pretty fuckin good.

So maybe some good will come of this, at the very least I'll learn something.
