I certainly don't, given that 350 days out of the year outdoor temps here are 60-70 degrees and RH is 50-60% at noon, I just suck straight outdoor air in, run it through the filter, through the cooltube, and out the other side.
point is if he has high enough humidity to damage a filter it seems i'd be more worried about fungal issues and powdery mildew. in that case, you'd have to make some humidity adjustments anyway. also, it doesn't sound like he's going to suck in outdoor air being with a small tent, but i could be wrong...
